ok thanks but its useless because normaly they dont send you remedical after 15months specialy in husband cases., these conditions can apply in other countries but not good for Pakistan.

You are correct, in most cases its not useful for us.

They'll send it back. I paid an extra $10. They sent me a cheque and wrote an extra paragraph when I got my AOR letter saying I overpaid and they returned the money. Its a Government of Canada cheque.

wow i ll get $75 back!!!

hi.can any one help me...my consultant told me today that cic has doing work on my file & from last 3 months i got reply for cic my application is active & in queue of waiting .My still status shows application received .what is that mean?is it am getting IMM forms request or what?

To Everyone:

I have a question.

Yesterday I received 2 letters from CRA. One was for GST and the other one was for OST. They were asking me to owe some money back to them. It turns out that my accountant notified CRA that I am married and the maritial status is changed on their system. They are saying that I have racked up a certain amount of GST/OST credit from July 2011 to June 2012 when I was not supposed to. The government now wants a certain amount back. Almost $400.

And yes, the only reason I didn't inform them about being "Married" was because I wanted to rack up a good amount of GST/OST. Its good side income every quarter.

I can't afford to pay back $400 to the government. My wife is not even a PR of Canada nor does she have a SIN number. She has not even landed in Canada yet. In the books of CRA, I should not owe anything.

What do you guys think?

same thing here bro....they were asking me to payback $192.00 due to my marital staus changed by my tax consultant told me nothing to worry about and he have it fixed with CRA. so I think you do the same and have your consultant deal with them as it works out for me.

It just means your application was received by them/CHC-ISB. Don't worry, i know people whose status still shows application received on Ecas and yet their wives have landed!

If your file is being worked on, thats great! All the best.

If your status does change, it will change to In-Process and then Decision Made. I wish they had mini-statuses so we knew what state our file was in...background checks? medical? In-Process? In Queue etc.

Cheers,
