Guys can anyone answer this question, once you get the email reply saying your file is "waiting to be reviewed by a decision-making officer", how long after that should you expect PPR?

It depends on the brought forward date when they will view ur file again

If i am not mistaken ur bfd is november 2012

Yes you are correct, that what the CAIPS say, so that means PPR will come in November?

wait for response, you are correct. There is an age difference between my wife and I but that was not the original reason for the interview que. It was suggested we were a marriage of convienence and not genuine due to nikkah only case which triggered an interview, but having satisfied that concern with completed ruksati and reception in November, I believe our age difference may resulted in no cancelation of interview.

I am okay with my wife having this interview and have accepted the fact the interview will not be cancelled, just saddens me that others have received interviews before her even after they applied after. First in, first out policy seems broken.

My wifes 2nd medical expires in two weeks, our one step forward has taken 10 steps back.

Reading senior members reponses it looks like they dont open files at random times only on bfd,s that have been set

I am November 2010 AOR. Passport received with VISA stamped......Shukar hai ALLAH ka. IF you are November 2010 Aor then you are next in line...PLease check my signature you will know my time line.

CANPak05 - dont you find it odd that Rani786 interview came before me, you & BESTBROS ... I am happy for Rani786 (CONGRATS) but it's not first come first service here. It means CHC ISB is not following the law accordingly. We should file a complaint against CHC ISB to the HIGH COURT cause we will not get anywhere filing a report with IMMIGRATION CANADA ... This is ridiculous!!

Jaania, this is truely an unfair process. When I discussed this with my MPs office it was commented that they cannot suggest a break in the first in, first out policy without proof. That proof being in the form of others who successfully completed interviews and received visas after applying after me coming forward with documentations. Other than a few members of this forum, i do not know anyone locally who has had their interview who applied after my wife.

My MPs office sent a request for inquiry to CHC-ISB over 3 weeks ago and has not received a response, they said on Wednesday they will email the Ministry's office to get a response, but no word on that either.

I have a more optomistic belief I thought I would share. Applications in their final stages that go to the decision making officers que, with a standard bfd issued based on standard time-line estimates, will have a decision made sooner than the bfd. I cant say for certain when you will receive response, but I wouldnt be surprised if its within a month or two, if not sooner.

BFD stands for "Bring Forward Date" when file should be reviewed and/or actioned on date.

My medical was done 10 days ahead of you, so lets see we will get something soon
