I received the exact same letter in Toronto for Re-PCC and supp forms that my husband received in Karachi. I didnt get the one for re-med though, that was only sent to Karachi address.

oh ok, thats interesting that they are sending letters to the sponsor as well...i guess this is a recent thing they have started becos in some older cases only the principal applicant in Pakistan would get the letters...the sponsor would be a silent bystander.

so just to make it clear, the request letters that the sponsor in canada gets is just for reference sake? the sponsor does not have to take any action on them cos all the Imm forms/RePCC/ReMed/PPR is obviously from the person being sponsored.

has any sponsor been contacted for additional info/forms etc since they were approved as sponsors??

now THAT is interesting...i guess maybe also because, sometimes the letters dont even reach the principal applicants and get lost...maybe thats one reason too??

HELP!!!!!!This question bothers me so much...Any response would be appreciated!
Is it necessary to receive a PPR that ur ecase u should be change to IN PROCESS
like we dec 2010 plp have got remed ,reppc.imm forms but still our status is APPlication received ..not a single person of dec 2010 says that his/her satus is In process.
So should I be worried abt it or not I am fed up of checking it.Y it is not changing to in process.Would I get PPR Unless its change?

i dont htink its a big issue, cuz when my brother sponsored his wife, his wife had landed in canada and ecase was stupid enough to show 'in process' so if u ask me...should not matter...and as ur sayin u rec'd remed, imms etc...that shows that ur application IS in process otherwise u wudnt be receivng this stuff

I cant stop looking at ecase either, and it never changes. I log in like 10 times a day. And I say dua before I press the Login button every time lol.

Waslam Bro,

I am not sure about business opportunities but for job Alberta's economy is booming like anything recently one of my friend moved here and he got job(field one) in 15 days and salary he is getting one can only imagine in dreams(atleast for 2 years) if living somewhere else.

And if you are lucky enough and get a chance in energy sector (Oil & Gas) you can start with some good bucks. There are pros and cons everywhere. Life in Alberta is not that happening or lively as compare to Toronto or Vancouver like you won't find much Desi happening but if you career oriented then consider moving to Alberta.

Here is a short review of major cities in Canada:

Montreal: Big metropolitan city with lots of opportunities. A big bilingual problem, very much impossible to accommodate here.
Toronto: Again a big metropolitan city with lots of opportunities but very saturated market and very less opportunities for new comers.
Vancouver: Another big city with lots of happening. Very expensive living and good for well settled Canadians.
Calgary: Most happening city in Alberta. More colder than east cost. Good job opportunities.
Edmonton: Commonly called “Deadmonton”. Cold place. Good place to start your career with but not good for any social happening.
Regina: Haven't heard anything bad but heard place is also very cold. Good opportunities and social happening is very limited.
Useful infOrmation

Many many Congratulations to Rani786 and Raptors.

I believe whoever has received a letter in canada to do either RePCC, Re-IMM, Re-med or PPR had filled out the "representative form" and on that they had mentioned their name and/or lawyer's name. It means that they are the representative and will correspond on behalf of principal applicant.

just my two cents...

No i did not fill any representative form but still my husband received the copy of the letter i received here in pak :)
