We have heard from different members in the past few months that they get a reply in the email after Re-med that their application is under background check.

Dear Mainbucha Sahib,

You are the senior fellow in this forum. My wife’s time line is March, 2011. I mean application was received by the CIC-Islamabad on the abovementioned month. I emailed them twice regarding the case and the answer was same that your application is in queue for initial review. Third time I emailed them and got the following reply today. Could you OR any other can explain the difference. It would be highly appreciated. Following is the CIC-I reply.

"In response to your email, please be informed that this application is in process. Please be advised that our office has received your supporting documents, and they have been placed on your file for review."

" If any further information is required you will be contacted. In the meantime, please wait patiently while the application is processed."

If you sent them any proof of relationship since last year, it means they put it together with your file. If you didn't send them anything, it means they just gave you a wrong reply.

Hey Canadian, I got my PPR on march 29 today on 2nd April embassy has received my passport. How long it will take to get back my passport with visa stamped.
Thanks.

Congrats! it take time to get your passport back within 1 month or less... but I hope you will get your passport with visa stamped within less than one week!! InshaAllah :)

Dear Danny4460 Sahib,

Thank you very much for your quick response. I mailed them all relevant proofs i.e. my air fare PIA ticket, Pakistani and Canadian Passport stamped by the FIA entry and exit, telephone bills and Money gram receipts etc etc. The CHC-I verify the all related documents. Further, it is a wife case and still in process. While our some fellows from March and April have received their re-medical and rpp. However, Allah knows the best.

Does anyone has problems emailing chc isb? I tried twice and it keeps saying email is not right

This might be obvious but make sure to remove the spaces before and after @ . Gmail doesnt let you send it if it is like this but Yahoo does not check for it.

No problem brother,

Its possible that they have recently attached your proof to your wife's file. This way your wife's file would now be reviewed again and they will look at all the proofs provided and make then ask your wife to fulfill any other requirements if necessary. If they are satisfied with your relationship and your paperwork i.e. the forms and PCC is good, then they might just waive this requirement and directly ask for Re-medical. If not then they will ask for documents according to their requirements.
