What is difference between CAIPS and GCMS?

does one come faster than the other?
does one contain more information than the other?

I just know that GCMS is a new version, but i have no idea if there is any difference between these two.
or are they both same with different names?

Caips are written in code form and the GCMS looks like this (click on the link below). GCMS contains more info in form of notes made by the person looking at the file. Like what I posted yesterday. CAIPS will not have such info. In terms of what will come faster, I think they both take average of 30 days. Hope this answered your question.

Lol MBA sounds better, I guess the only difference is the CAIPS are written in codes. And in GSMS all fields are clearly stated. I had part of my file in CAIPS system and later part of it was in GCMS and in CAIPS there were no notes so I figured thats how they are. But if your's had notes than I stand corrected. My bad.

I have noticed that members who had full wedding gets re-med and ppr after 12 months of the file transfer date .i.e in the 13 th or 14 th month !

I have a good news to share. I got PPR today through TCS an they asked mr to send back Passport along with two passport size pics with in 15 days.
Kindly guide me regarding the procedure of sending passport, like which courier service I should use etc.
