I guess, they have started your initial background checking.
InshAllah you'll receive something by the end of this month.
They started processing my application on 5th Aug 2010 and i received the first letter on 27 sept.

Forms
Application for PR ( IMM0008egen)
Background Declaration (IMM0008_1e)
Additional Family Information (IMM5406E)
Pakistani nationals form

Proof of contacts
Emails
Call record
Financial support
Pictures

Police certificates

Education certificates (If any)

Unless ECAS is wrong then that's what it saying. If this isn't correct then CHC are specialists at screwing up ECAS too? Has that happened before?

Yeah this is my first time I will be hearing something back.

Have you ever thought about your own attitude at forum. For many of us it is easy to look at others and blame them instead of ourselves. After all, we are human. How many of us like to admit our own mistakes. (hardly anyone)

When something doesn't go your way “Oh, so-and-so on and on it goes in a circle I never made a mistake kind of an attitude.” Quite often we forget our own role that we did not perform. Our attitude is looking at others fault first before we point the accusing finger at ourselves. I always say this; when you point a finger at others, remember three are pointing back.

Perhaps when you realize that people at forum try to say something, that it is time to look at our own attitude. Have the wisdom and will power to know that we all can make a positive change in ourselves not to annoy anyone.

It doesn't mean that we are weak. It doesn't mean that someone is a lesser person. It just means that we can be little more tolerant.


I have been there. There are people whom the harder you try to please them; they do not reciprocate in kind. In fact: they treat you worse. You may be good to them but they do not return your kindness. You smile at them; they frown back. Nothing seems right. You could be speaking softly to them but they seem to raise their voices at you. At that point You know for yourself that they have a bad attitude.

But what to do with our own attitude? never Stop trying to be nice. Be nonchalant.

We should Take A Step Back and introspect and improve our attitude.

For some who may actually conclude that there could be nothing wrong with them. So be it. Then continue to do the things that you do. once you are convinced that your attitude needs improvement so at that point you would Eventually see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Once your attitude is improved, people will start to treat you better.

Sure, attitude problems are tough to solve, but not impossible. So it is better to start with ourselves.

There are only few of the forum members can write good English otherwise I see nothing but lots of mistakes just like Qmalik makes them too but I would like to point out one just to show that he is not perfect either. He wrote to someone hay dude Just a questions and I mean “when you say a man means one man” a question means one question, So he is not perfect in English either. You can not write A Questions.

Any way I just wanted to let everyone know that we should be more tolerant and nonchalant. Thanks for reading. May Allah bless all of us with good attitude.

Did they ever send you AOR letter?
If it's their first correspondence start re-filling forms
Make new Re-PCC and start gathering proofs

this is the 1st time m writting to this page i'll really appreciate if some one help me
my husband lives in calgary n we applied immigration in canadian high commision canada on june 28 2010.
he got letter of approval on aug 6th 2010
i got letter on 17 sep 2010 n thy said my case is in canadian high commision islamabd n thy asked 4 some documents which i sent them
& since than their is no update i haven't got any letter yet n the website has not been updated yet.its march 2012....
m really worried dont know how long will it take more can u plz guide me thanks

send an email inquiry to them and also request CAIPS/GCMS notes to see if there was any activity on your file

what is wrong in this?

My file was transferred to ISL on 7th July 2010 and i received AOR on 5th Aug 2010
and ecase shows we started processing your file on 5th Aug 2010, same date when i received my AOR
my point is one month gap is normal not an year gap

Do anybody know what does it mean if your MP got update from CIC Islamabad that " They are finalizing the background checks " ....I got that 10 days ago but still nothing .....

Secondly is there anyone who can confirm me this newz that I was told that they can issue visa even if there is one week left in the expiry of the medical ?? Mine is expiring in April.
