Hi, I am sponsoring my husband from Senegal. I am a Canadian and I met my Senegalese husband while I was living in Italy. He was living in Italy illegally when we met. Now Canada wants police reports from every country he has lived in for the last 6 years or so and I do not know how I can get a police report from Italy for him if there was never any record of him being there. We have already disclose that we met in Italy because there is no sense in lying-they always find out and it is also how we met so I have to include it. I do not know what to do!

I would suggest consulting an experienced immigration lawyer.

No still waiting, hoping they will not send our case to the interview queue. But last week I sent out the request for CAIPS notes, so in one month we will have a better idea where we stand. If they have sent it to interview, I will go to Pakistan and do the Ruksati. But I hope I dont have to go back to Pakistan, I dont have any family there and its pain in the ass to travel.

The number on top of your Receipt of Application is your Immigration File Number, and the Client ID number is the number on the letter you have received from Case processing center Mississauga. Check you docs and you will find this info.
