CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

Hi All !
I live in Pakistan and my Application for permanent residence is in process since last year .i.e. May 2011. My Husband is a Canadian citizen and is sponsoring me (sponsorship has already been approved).The timeline for Pakistan is 26 months which is way too much… I wanted the advice of all the members here as to what are chances of me applying for visit visa and getting it approved. What kind of proofs do I have to gather in order to get visit visa? FYI, I’m currently working in a insurance company…. Also, please guide me the procedure

if cheating ki bat hai tou cheat sari world ki countriez karti hogi tou ye na insafi sirf pak k sth q sab k sth kare na ye log sara zulim hum he q sahe dil se nikalti hai in cruel ppl k lye aur mujhe lagta hai pak mai tou cheat b nhi hota hoga inta phr b ye hamare sth aisa horaha

while applying Canadian PR its not common to get visit visa, 80 percent visas denied, in few cases ppl got visas but mostly not, as they taking to much time for giving us visa how we can expect them to provide visit visa straightforwardly.

hay guys i got a call from embassy today n the person was askin few questions abt my husband visit since we got married or wether he is in canada or pak ... i told him tat my husband is in canada n workin dere ....
the person said we r sending sum documents which u will receive in a week or so ...
i wana ask tat do they call everyone or they call u for sm reason n which documents shud i expect ???
plz help guys

Normaly they dnt call everyone, they just wanted to make sure is your husband planing to come pak or not, as they already know your husband didnt visited you since you got married, you should ask them what kind of docs they are sending

I have two questions:

1: I am about to submit my completed application to Mississauga office for my spouse in Pakistan. Can anyone tell me, is there any specific dimensions of the envelope package in which all the papers and evidence go?? And is there any specific envelope?

2: In the IMM 0008 form, when my wife printed those forms, she received many bar codes. Do they have to be on the same page or cut and paste anywhere? if yes, then where to paste them?

I would really appreciate for the help!
