ANYONE ELSE WITH SOME FEEDBACK PLEASE?

Hello everyone,

I am still new to this forum. I really appreciate everyones feedback and responses as it greatly helps me and others who have similar issues.

Few questions:

1. My Husband did his re-medical in Sept 2011, any spouses of those who did re-medical in September have gotten thier Passport request and/or visa? Or is islamabad only working on those ppl who did re-meds in august? itsbeen 7 weeks since remeds, dont they send the ppl request after 4 weeks?

There is no set timeline of how long it takes; sometimes it takes 1 month and sometimes more than 6 moths. Once everything is completed including background checks you will receive PPR.

2. how long is it currently taking islamabad to reply back on email? All 15 days or less?

Normally if you email in their morning time lets say 7Am in Islamabad I have gotten a reply back within minutes but lately it seems like they are ignoring all the emails.

3. some people have mentioned that their address is missing on e-case? what do you mean? is this is in islamabad or on another organizations online status.
anyone use 'TRACK IT' ON CANADAVISA.com? how effective is that?
my update since more than 16 months still says IN PROCESS. should i use the above site instead?

People are talking about applicant's address that shows up when checking online status on CIC website. Some say it's a system glitch and some say when they work on your file the address disappears; its still a mystery. No one knows what it means exactly. Do not use "trackit" it useless for us Islamabad applicants.

Okay I've seen quite a few cases here whov been waiting in the interview queue, and considering that it takes a lengthy amount of processing time for these people, I'm confused as to what factors lead them to send some people an interview req while they finalise a lot of cases btw 14-18 months? Do they have serious doubts on genuinty of marriage that they call 4 an interview or is it just random calling? Please this is one thing that is really bothering me, help appreciated

2) marriage not genuine (arranged marriage with not much proofs)
3) 2nd marriage for husband or wife
4) big age difference (regardless of husband or wife)
5) a lot of travel history
6) worked for government and/or political position, military etc

These are some that I have seen there could be more, people normally order CAIPS to find out the reason.

They never changed my wife's ecas either. It said "in Process" since March 2010 and nothing else. Then in Aug 2011 all of a sudden it changed to "decision made" and said the medicals have been received and office will contact you in coming days. So ecas is not really a reliable source but yes it does give you an idea towards the end about whats happening...

Hmm i guess then I shouldn't really rely on e-cas and just wait for a surprise ringing of the door-bell- with the tcs guy bringing back my passport with visa! Since my e-cas hasn't really helped/changed all this time...
