Remedical dates are not the proper way to track application timelines. CiC approves applications based on "first in first out" principle. So it would be helpful if you enter the month of submission to CIC Mississauga rather than remedical date. remember some people get remedical request earlier than others.

and some don't get remed even after a year of expiry

yes i have observed passports being received on fridays and saturdays..
