address ka chakkar is still confusing not sure about it, get your passport renewed, first u need to confirm from passport office that what is the maximum time line from the date of expiry on which a passport can be renewed, i am not sure but i think they don't renew the passport if the validity is more then 6 months but i am not sure about it. I am also waiting for my passport to be renewed but i will do it in the end of Nov.

No mine was expiring in May 2012, but I got it done now. Its better to do it earlier, with all the Hajj passports rush etc. Plus one never knows, if they run out of machine readable paper then one can be stuck for 2-3 months [It happened to 2 of my friends. They applied in april (urgent) and got their passport back in July!]

I was just finishing praying and saying dua for my Zuhur namaz, and at the very momont the bell rang, and sure enough it was the TCS guy. Mashallah i got my passport back with the visa today. Thanks to all the members of the forum who stayed by me, guided me through the whole process and prayed for me all this time. Alhamdulillah Allah has been kind on me. Allah ka jitna shukar karoon woh kam hai.

oh ok good job then, well then i will have it done in Oct i guess cuz these days i am busy at work, well the Hajj applications are already processed so it wont be a problem but you are right there is always a paper issue at pp office lol. If u just had your passport renewed send them the copy of new one so they can place it in your file.

i submitted my passport with the remedical on 21st july 2011 and i received it back today that is on 27 september 2011 with the visa...Mashallah

Can someone plz tell me how long it took for Shaimas passport to come back with visa after the passport
request. I think the dates on her timeline are wrong and i really need the info.

Was your case Nikah one or full wedding?
