CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

I dont know if its true or false but i have heard from couple of people that visa issuance also depends on the location of your Sponsor.
For example if your sponsor is residing in Ontario your visa will be issued to you faster then if your sponsor is living in any other province.
Anyone heard something like this?

And what are the planing for future If we reject the case.

In required detail they have asked for emails contact, cards,financial support receipts, weding photos. And also They said that the [Schedule 1] Background check form is blank and please fill it and send us back.Also a news PCC
I swear I did complete this form and attached with the file.I have a PDF copy of my original application I sent. Also all these required documents [pictures,cards,recipts, and many other] are already attached with the file.
Well now I am going to draft a legal letter with full legal discription & detail.
Any thoughts from my brothers/sister.

I also got the same letter from the CHC Islamabad,,, and I sent them whatever they asked for in June, 2010 stilll waiting for them to review that.. my husband's case processing started April, 2008 still not done... what the hell... I hate waiting.. but rite now I am with my husband and dont wana leave him... but I was wondering if it will impact his case me living with him not in Canada

I've heard it's the other way around. Ontario has longer wait time then any other province.

I don't think it is true, Possibility Ontario for longer wait and other provinces may be shorter than ontario.......

Anyways does anyone know ISLAMABAD EMBASSY number, Please kindly post....the direct line,if possible many thanks

my case processing started in jan 25 and today its 25 oct ...... 9 months period is over.. stilll not get any lettter....during this period my husband visited me 2 times. 1st in april and 2nd in september..i want to send some additional proof of his visits...should i sent PCC alongwith these documents as my medical and PCC both r expired.?

Yes please do soo, just to remind you that my wife case also started on 25th same as your and I had receive RUKHSATI objection letter last week and they need explaination for that & new PCC other than every things look ok to me.

Baseera... when you got this letter .. You had already submitted the PCC for the second time? We did the re-medical and submitted the PCC for the second time in May 2010.. and ever since then my case is in Background checks. I am really worried now!! how can they say that the marriage is not genuine at this point in time.. when everything is done... The pictures and everything else is something they ask for in the begining. I have lived away from my daughter and husband for more than a yr.. now i can't do that anymore... so i too have returned to my husband and daughter and i am not planning to leave them till my husband gets his immigration. I am thinking of going to the Canadian Embassy in Islamabad while i am here, and tell them how miserable they have made my life.. I donno if they are going to help me... but i have been told that as a Canadian Citizen they can't stop me from going to the embassy. Any suggestions???

So finanlly I met with lawyer a friend of my in-laws neighoubers in PAK and it was just 50/50. I said it was 50/50 probably I reached him by a reference. He was telling me that he is specialized in Immigration & criminal cases and today he attended court for 2 cases on fighting human smuggling charges from Nigeira on his clients and If his firm win they will charge $25k to his clients as agreed. Can you believe There is no doubt he was a good expert,geniues lwayer and I was ver much impressed.

Anyway he red my RUKHSATI objection letter from CHC-ISB and required items. He advised me send them all the required documents and gave them the full reason in your letter for not having RUKHSATI at that time, but as you guys know I have provided financial documents which indicates my wife name plus many other things, so he gave me hope that officer may consider your case a genuine case and may approve the VISA as I have a rukhsati plan in Toronto.
Further he did me a favour and write me a short discription of my action in legal language and it may conveince the officer to approve the VISA.
If not than he said you have no choice and have to perfrom the RUKHSATI in PAK and you need to travel which he said write at very last line that If all above failed than you are forced to travel to PAK in order to provide CHC-ISB RUKHSATI evidence.and he strongly adviced me if you will go to PAK keep all the correspondance with you, also take your Canadian passport and Citizenship card with you and visit CHC-ISB office personally with the RUKHSATI event and tell them you are here and need VISA immidiately if they said no "Jhoota Maro" and tell them go ahead and verify RUKHSATI but till until I need visit visa for my spouse so that I can take her with me to Canada.
Also the 4 page letter I have typed he said I gave you points advice free because of referance but If I have to type the same letter for you I will charge $500 but I ensure you my letter will shake the officer as well. ??? Is that how CHC-ISB work :-X

That is why I dont like my community lawyer's they alwasy think about $$$ instead of doing some thing good for community.I was thinking in my mind if I pay you $500 still no gurantee that the officer will be conveinced on RUKHSATI why not add another $1000 and buy ticket go to PAK and perform rukhsati which will be a 100% assurance that wife will get VISA. ;D

Bottom line is I will stick with my owen drafted letter If it works it will be great otherwise I am making plan to visit PAK in Dec/Jan to perfrom Rukhsati.

Lostsoul27, By all means you can go to the embassy in islamabad, because if you are canadian citizen they can't stop you to go inside the canadian embassy. Make sure you take your daughter with you but they will not let your husband in the embassy unless he has to go for an interview. Tell them how hard it is for you to live without your child and husband and they should give you the reason why it is taking so long. Any way good luck to you and forsure you should go to your husband and spend some time with your daughter as well.

yes everything will be fine..good luck 2 u and everyone here ......i have his tickets, some more pics when he was here, we also went for umrah with some more proofs..and i will also add new PCC.. is it ok? should i send these things from TCS or Pakistan post?

hey its is sad how you did not see this coming? I filed my case in April/10 and I was told right away by my consultant that Nikahs are no longer accepted by the Immigration so I had to change few things around. Luckily me and my husband, we are good friends so we had pictures in his house and with his family at their place so I used them to say this was after Rukhsati and even the invitation cards, we got them fixed..the only issue is that we obviously did not have a function for Valima so we said that it will happen here as we want one celebration here.I wish you all the best, it is frustrating having to wait for this long just to hear that Rukhsati is what they want now.. :-X

After Nikah ceremony just came home packed the stuff and morning time flight time.Which I write clear information reason behind that, future action and the proof that the relation is genuine, and the RUKHSATI will be done here. Lawyer gave me hope that If he were in CIC-ISB after seeing the evidence & reasons with full proof I will approve the VISA. But again he said its depend in which mood he/she is when she review your file again.

No I was told clearly and even shown the letter which my lawyer received from CIC saying that Nikah is no longer accepted at CIC for spousal immigration. The reason he said is bcz just Nikah is not considered a full marriage and it is only done on paper, previously they accepted it but not anymore (think it was more for wives sponsoring husbands cz they have more chances of doing frauds thru paper marriages like that but obviously they cant just enforce this rule on this basis so they banned it for both). It HAS to be Rukhsati and there has to be pictures and invitation card highlighting the Rukhsati time and place. It is a good thing that you have decided that you will go and do rukhsati in Dec cz else they will give you more trouble and delay your case even more. You left the next day of your nikah which is even more suspicious, it could be taken as you didnt really have too much connection with her, didnt really spend time with her. I am not sure if it is your arrange marriage but since you applied so long ago and it is a husband sponsoring wife case, she should have been here by now...dont waste more time, & I just hope I dont get questioned about my No Valima :'(
