This is what I got today... Standard response, I believe.

"Your application is currently in process. A correspondence will be sent out to you on your mailing address soon.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum."

Here is my timeline buddy...

1. CIC Mississauga received my application on December 09, 2009.
2. February 08, 2010: CIC Islamabad started processing the application
3. Got a letter from CIC Islamabad stating "We have received your application to sponsor... and if you haven't submitted the required docs... Please do it ASAP...

Any news at your end?

CIC-M recevied my application Dec 9-2009
BUt ISB started processing case on JAN 25-2010 & recived AOR letter on JAN 29-2010 a week earlier than your's.

Received an email response on Oct 10 that "the file is in queue to be reveiwed by immigration officer" so I assume they have not reviewd my file yet but good news for you atleast they told you that a correspondence will be sent out to you :)
when is your medical & PCC is going to expire and are you sponsering your wife or husband.Let me know when you receive a letter from them, most likely it will be remedical request letter. I am gald that I still have 1 month for medical & PCC to expire.

I used islamabad-im-enquiry@international.gc.ca last week & did get response back on third day.

ONE 2 KA 4: Medical and PCC expiring in 20 days. Yea, most probably it will be re-medical request. Ummm, so this is there standard response...??
 
Yes this is the standard response. Hey buddy who know's it may be a remedical request and may be same time they will ask for PPR.

Polygamy is most common among wealthy Pakistani families trying to come to Canada, officials says, though they often wont reject an application if a man has more than one wife.
