OSAP stands for Ontario Student Assistance Program, which is actually student loan. As long as your wife doen't get any social assistance such as welfare etc, you don't need to worry InshAllah

goodoz now one more question...my wife takes OSAP for shcool...do you think they will approve the sponsorship?? cause in guide they write clearly, "You are ineligible to sponsor if you are in receipt of social assistance for a reason other than disability."...

Dont worry for Student its not that case so she is illegible and it will work for her

jo time likha howa hai case k hone ga Allah ki taruf se .. woh ushi time hona hai.. Hum lakh koshish kar lain.. MP'S per chale gayeen.. CHC ko e-mails karein.. ya unko galiyan dain... nothings gonna happen.. jub uper se Manzoori ani hai kisi ne rokh nahi sakna...

Don't worry, OSAP is not a social assistance - its a loan. It will not have any negative impact on your file.

i have osap n i have applied for my husband... it doens't effect the sponsorhsip.. dont worry

how r u doing marya.. what about ur appeal..did u file for it already?? what are your plans now.. i hope it passes by quickly for you inshAllah.

can anyone tell me how much time it takes to receive caips notes..i applied for them around 7-8 march, i still haven't received yet.. even this takes a loong time ..argh !!! :'(

No problem brother. In your other post you mentioned that waiting 2 years won't be a problem for you. It takes a lot of strength to be mentally prepared to wait for 2 years and you sound like you have got it MashAllah

Thnx for asking im doing alright hangin in there .. yes i filed the appeal next day of refusal wich was apr 7th lawyer said 4 months before the file comes back to canada .. and then we go for our hearings and convince the judge that it wasnt fair .. so lets see ..
no plans yet cuz recently my parents got into a very bad car accident and my dad is critical .. so im here with them .. inshallah i will plan somthing after my hearing ..

It has been more then a year since u rcvd ur AOR, did you hear anything yet?
