I Have been visiting this forum from time to time to keep an eye out for processing times. Just wanted to share the news for benefit of others. My wife got PPR today!..here are our timelines:

applied to Mississauga Jan 25, 2010
Mississauga approved Mar 10, 2010 file sent to Isl
Islamabad Started Processing - aor Received april 2010
Updated forms + PCC Request - End of Dec
Re-Medical Done - Jan 2011
PPR - March 25, 2011

salam to all, Alhumdulila i got my passport back with visa yesterday Allah ka shuker hei and knaeem bhai Inshallah u will b gettin urs today and every1 who's waiting for their passports Inshallah soon every1 wil have their passports back wid visa soon Inshallah and btw i send my passport on 2nd March.

lol another typo...I meant to write, my friends don't understand. I am very tired today and I don't know why I keep making these typos. lol this is the 3rd time today I posted something that I didn't mean. I haven't been sleeping well for about a month. My mom thinks I worry too much and that subconsiously I'm constantly worried even though I may not really think about it.

Sachi me, neendain haram ho gaye hain. lol Jab ye abhi se halat hai jab bache honge phir kiya hoga :-\ lol

I KNOW CHC-I nei sub ki nendei haraam ki hoi hain... :'(

my husband is my sponsor,who is in canada,and i m an applicant (also house wife),but i receved req from CHC-I asked me to submit proof of income and provide details regarding my source of income.

I never contacted them unnecessarily . I only wrote them 3-4 times with some update to share with them ( like change of address , baby`s birth etc ) . All the time i contacted them through MP and the response was rapid and specific.

From what i think MP don't have the power to escalate your case. From what i've seen they send an email on your behalf which you can do it your self. And get the same generic reply from CHC.

That's just me, and i have no exp dealing with MP or i could be wrong as well.
