Yeah include everything you are taking and there is no duty at all. People are travelling for the first time means immigrating to Canada they can bring whatever they like but only one time and there is no duty. Also if you want to bring something like carpets and other stuff which you can not bring it with you just let them know at the airport that you have more stuff coming and you have to let them know the value of those things and i think they will give you a year to bring those things so don't worry bring whatever you like.

i hav a prblem.. i hav sent my doc(re-medical, updated PCC n othr refilled forms) to CHC on December 18th, which was recievd by SHAMOON DESP at CHC on 19th, and few days back i came to know that CHC has never received my documents..

i have emailed thm and with a gap of 8 days faxed thm the proof of delivery frm TCS n TCS receipts, but i didn't get any reply ..wht should i do now.. its more thn 10days now..

now im think to TCS thm all the photocopied documents again ..tellme wht should i do..

Try to call them and see if they let you talk to someone regarding this because its an urgent matter specially when they give you 45 days for something and its been about 3 months :S If they tell you to email the embassy which you have already then just wait until they contact you again. How did you find out that they havn't received your documents?

Yesterday, my wife received letter from CHC, Islamabad for Re-medical of her and daughter.

Re-medical goes to India or they send it direct to CHC, Islamabad. How long will it take after Re-medical?

Dear Brother Knaeem and Friends:

Last week, my wife received letter from CHC, Islamabad for Re-medical. Today, she went for medical in Islamabad. The Dr. told her that picture isn't affixed on baby's medical form. She called/e-mailed to CHC and after 3-hours medical was done with charging extra money for confirmation from embassy. The doctor told her that after confirmation from CHC, she will sent the medical to India.

It's the total fault of CHC, Islamabad staff, although she provided 9-photographs of baby while updating file.
When they will send PPR after Re-medical?

Yeah, they are machines... Robots. they know but pretend not to know nothing. I missed my hubby so bad today. Toronto+ whole canada is colorless without him. I can be with him in deserts with no roof but can't be without him in heavens even.

Whatever is happening at CHC-Islamabad is not their fault, they are just doing their job and what they are told to. Its the Canadian government who is planning and operating the whole program. You can't really blame the staff of the embassy, because their boss is just telling them what to do and they are just following what they are told.

They have wives/husbands, but are not away from their wives/husbands. They can't feel how it feels to be away from your soul mate. They go there with their wives and work. I understand they have to obey, but even with the straight forward cases they wait until 16 months. They can't feel our frustration. They send letters and the letter gets lost if they would have update the e-cas then applicant would know right away that they have tried to contact me but i have not received the letter. They answer you after 6 months that yeah we sent you a letter on this date. Is that fair?

NOW THIS IS REAL SCARY!! WHO IS TO BLAME NOW? TCS?? THAT MEANS WE HAVE TO NOW RESORT TO OTHER WAYS OF GETTING OUR DOCUMENTS TO CHC LIKE HAND-DELIVER OURSELVES??

You are right Wes', they have to be objective, there are procedures and manuals to follow.
