• Feb 2010 I called Islamabad about 15 times but why should they pick up:/ Useless phone number!!
• April 2010 I send e-mail to Islamabad and they responded that "Quew for review"

• June 2010 MP got respond again "Quew for review"
• August 2010 I e-mailed Pakistan when flooding was craaaazzzzzy like hell...close to my hubby's area
• August 2010 I filed for Caips notes to get the answer once and for ALLLL
• September 2010 Hubby recived letter asking us for proof of relationship, updated IMM forms and new pictures of both of us together!!
• September 2010 I landed in Pakistan and my room was filled with rosses hanging from the C LING hahaa
• October 2010 Took lots and lots of pictures and sent everything along with letter to explain as to why I had not gone back since first visit!!
• October 2010 My hubby and I made a trip to Islamabad but we were not able to go in for inquiry........I tried even though I knew they would say "NO"
• October 2010 I sent them an E-mail requesting to see them in person before leaving to Canada.
• October 2010 We recived e-mail "No thank you, we have to review what we have right now"
• October 2010 I came back to Canada and saw Caips notes on my table!!

• December 2010- MP told me that Islamabad had bonofied the marriage so rest of process is just some fina background checks. the hardest step is done. MP said 14 months is in February so should get something by then.
• December, 2010- EMailed Canadian High Comission as well. They said file is with decision making officer.
• February, 2011- FOllowed up with MP again. They said sabar karo.
• February 19, 2011: Received passport request from TCS. High Commission sent it on February 17.

Try to call them and see if they let you talk to someone regarding this because its an urgent matter specially when they give you 45 days for something and its been about 3 months :S If they tell you to email the embassy which you have already then just wait until they contact you again. How did you find out that they havn't received your documents?

They have wives/husbands, but are not away from their wives/husbands. They can't feel how it feels to be away from your soul mate. They go there with their wives and work. I understand they have to obey, but even with the straight forward cases they wait until 16 months. They can't feel our frustration. They send letters and the letter gets lost if they would have update the e-cas then applicant would know right away that they have tried to contact me but i have not received the letter. They answer you after 6 months that yeah we sent you a letter on this date. Is that fair?

Well thats what I meant when I said "they don't know what we are suffering". Regarding updates on eCas, may be they are told NOT to update the ecas with such information. We don't know what their protocol is. Canada makes a real deal about people's safety and security. They have stupid rules sometimes, which everyone has to follow whether they like it or not.

May be to drop off the documents they will let you in. I have heard if you are not a canadian citizen you can't meet anyone or get an appointment. People please correct me if I am wrong here!

I have reviewed the audit report of CHC-ISL done some years back, which stated that the Canadian staff didnt live with their family due to security purposes. May be this is one reason why they dont care about our familiies.

Yes people have received calls like that, and they ask for Date of birth, eye colour etc. just general questions to see if the person really knows about who they are calling their spouse. Its just for their piece of mind because they don't call everyone for an interview but just want to do random cross checks.

At this point may I know as approximately when my wife can expect to be scheduled for in-person interview with your office.

I think both of us share the same timeline however my case is a husband case. He is also due for an interview. We also got same email response before that they won't schedule the interview atleast before February 2011. Last month my husband sent another email because we were getting so frustrated and they moved the date up and said they won't schedule it atleast before the end of the Quarter. So that means end of March...lets see...if they send something in March/April iA. Please let me know what response you get.

No certificate, just your payment receipt. Send them a letter or fax saying that you have done the remedical and send along the receipt.
