As u said provide them as many proofs as u can...
Heres my story.. I have been married for 2 years i have a daughter my husband and I spent out time together for 2 years before getting bound to this immigration process we waited for two years before filing our application... During which Allah blessed us with a daughter she is 1 year old now.... But since we have been travelling during these years.. And due to our nature we didnt keep receipts or boarding passes i didnt have much evidences to provide to cic.. Even though i have separate bank account in which my husband has kept enough money for me.. No proof of financial support either ...Allah janay ab kya hota hai agay...but i have heard k jitni shadi purani ho utna acha hota hai immigration k liye
I can imagine that a married couple would consider demands of CHC-ISB for proof of relationship as breach of privacy .... and who in his normal mind set would keep such evidence which is considered a part of daily life anyways but unfortunately you have to feed the mouth of beast (CHC-ISB) with the meal of their liking.
I assume you guys have pictures together of events if not call on all the people who invited you guys for family functions to get family and group photographs.
Proof of child's birth is a strong evidence indeed but sometimes it backfires when they suspect that the child is not yours and instead a nephew or niece whom you are trying to take with you to Canada and ask you for DNA testing which further delays the processing........ I know its ugly and disgusting but they have the privilege to demand such a thing and you have no right to say NO to it, they have their own reasons since some Pakistani couples have done such things in the past which were caught by the system and it gives them a BAD PRECEDENCE to act on it based on their DUE DILIGENCE to protect the system from abuse......... long story short, make sure you dont leave evidence behind to prove that the child is yours ..... means please dont take it for granted that they have to believe the child is yours........ I have examples to quote but dont wanna waste your time in reading all that and scaring you at the end.
Provide the copies of entry stamps on all passports Yourself Husband and Daughter and writing a covering note that all the dates match which means you guys were together all this time, use highlighter on dates.
going forward ask hubby to send the money through Moneygram or Western Union (since CHC-ISB seem to believe in these two companies)
This is how the process goes
Application transferred from Mississauga to CHC-ISB (as used to be the case until the pilot project started)
File put in storage and BF date set up
File is assigned two File numbers Fxxxx as electronic identification and Bxxxx for actual paper file in COLD STORAGE ROOM
Their computer program GCMS (used to be CAIPS) would alert them on the BF date that the initial review is due (this is why one should send as much evidence as possible before initial review so they dont waste your time asking you for proof of relationship)
File is taken to a Desi Guy/Girl called CASE ANALYST who would do initial review and determine that if marriage and relationship met all the norms of culture or if more evidence is required
Case Analyst at that point can do either of the three things
Issue Re-PCC plus IMM
Issue Re-PCC plus IMM Plus Remdedical
Satisfied with evidence and makes a proposal for Immigration Officer's review for approval
Immigration Officer can agree or disagree with the proposal (if disagree they would cancel the remedical request issued by Case Analyst, cancellation means the mail wont be sent out because IO wants more proof or background check.
If in the meantime you send more evidence when they did not demand it, it would trigger mandatory review of documents by Case Analyst and that means you are looking at additional months and months of wait, depends how busy the Desi Dude and his Gora boss are in gossip over the cup of tea.
Lets say PPR issued.
passport received by CHC-ISB
Passport attached to file and sent to Immigration Officer for final review of documents (this is where they respond to your question, where is my passport and the answer is ....... your file is in the que for review by Immigration Officer, there is nothing to be scared, it is just a standard process that IO wants to see the passport as original and match info on the passport with application
IO approves it (that is where you see decision made and address changed to Canada)
IO forwards it to Quality Assurance department where they sort out your original documents they need to return to you such as educational, pics etc. and shred the rest, issue COPR and dispatch it to TCS to be returned to you.
Hope it helps
Good Luck and please dont take anything wrong here I dont mean any personal attack on anyone's relationship, just trying to explain to the best of my ability.
