Thank you for the well wishes. I know what you mean, these last days are killers.

It has been more than 2 months they have his passport, I do not know what is taking them so long.

As per my conversation with the VO she confirmed no further checks were required and that all she has to do is issue the visa and send the passport back to my hubby.

I am just worried because, if you remember, there was a member on the forum and his wife's passport was stolen from CHC ISB and sold to some other lady and that woman landed in Toronto illegally. I don't want my husbands passport stolen or sold, just worried about that nothing else.

We are and have been waiting patiently, what else can we do.

I only see one forum member who got her passport back in 97 days!! That is crazy!! But then it has already been 70 plus days for us too.

It must be like us they will not ask for his passport because CSIS is still doing background check. I will talk with them next week In Sha Allah. Then that will be all for his file so I hope they can complete it afterwards In Sha Allah. Sister what part of Canada are you's living at. I pray soon you get the passport back and can continue yr life together In Sha Allah..... May Allah bless you in this time of hardship but make it easy for you's In Sha Allah

I received a letter in Pakistan, In which they asked me for to fill these forms Imm0008enu2d , Imm5406E, Imm5669E ,Pakistan National for and police certification.
Plus they ask me for sponsor's income proof and passport copy and residency proof.

I have applied for spousal sponsorship in November,2010

You may like to make copies of all pages of Passport and get those Notarized in Canada before you send it to CHC, they actually want to determine your length of stay and ongoing financial ability to sponsor your wife. Forms and PCC are standard, other than that its a T4 time so you may like ot attach one for 2012 along with a job letter and most recent pay stub in addition to a balance statement from your bank. I assume you are a PR not a Citizen

Hi ziaulhaq! I sent my pp on 20 dec 2012 along with medical.....how much more time u think it will take to get it back? I initially submitted the forms on march 2010 and the files reached to Islamabad on July 2010.

I read somewhere that those that sent PPR & Medical separately, they get it back faster. I remember there was a list on return time on PP.

Yeah maybe....but I saw on the list there was a record showing 53 days for ppr+med at the same time.....mine is so far 45+ days.....

do they get mad in chc when u send them emails or faxes requesting them to process the visa sooner because some reasons u have......?
