i too agree with don2....liar (lawyer) is a rip off be careful they take advantage of ppl who r vulnerable.

Sis i feel soo bad and now im a little scared... May Allah swt help you and all of us here Ameen.

They really cant do this to you, u can call Immigration office in Ottawa and tell them this so that they can take some actions towards this. Trusting a lawyer is not a good idea, the only lawyer and Wakil is Allah swt.
Lawyers only want money and they say anything they want to get something done that is already done...

Im telling you NO LAWYER knows a single thing about CHC, most likely we are more of a lawyer regarding CHC then an actual lawyer.

trust me,,,,you are right i told you about my experience ..before i submitted my file we talked many pakistani lawyers in canada they are such a basted,,,,,,, told me oh your account is zero and your wife account is zero,,, you guys don't match the requirements and this and that.... if we will submit your case your case then its will ok we put some extra documents that your case will not refuse because your case is very difficult and we will make it right and i almost bit angry on every lawyer then my wife told me that she will speak i have to keep quite cuz we are in conference guess what the next lawyer told my wife some this different rather then case he told her that why you married in Pakistan then i spoke right away "tanu ki takleef aye main tere pan nal viya kita aye" he was what the hell and my wife cut the phone...hahahahaha...look from help of you guys where i am standing now

trust me you are right i told you my expirance ..before i submit my file i talk many pakistani lawyers in canada they are such a basted told me oh your account is zero your wife account is zero you don't match the totel requrments and this and that if we your case will be very difficult and we will make is right and he gave my wife that why you married in pakistan i was in confrance call i spoke right away "tanu ki takleef aye main tere pan nal viya kita aye" because my wife told me not to speak i will speak i said ok then wheni said him like this he was what the hell and my wife cut the phone hahahahaha

plus no one will be at my house if during this period we will get something from CHC and we r not there to recive it then what will happen

i think you should call to "family next home" will look after that or write a Email to CHC " ka baghartoo main chali yan mihiny bad awan gee ty tuanu vikh lawan gee"

I wonder if they have this option of mail forwarding here in Pakistan. you could check with PPO.

Plus, they are in the habit of throwing your mail at your doorstep, so if you already don't have one, try investing in a letterbox so your mail won't be lost. You could give the key to a trusted neighbor who could check your mail once in a while. Plus, keep your pakistani cell phone on. it would cost you some bucks, but will save you some stress.

That's when your phone kicks in, dear. They give you a call when they find your premises closed. so make sure that you have access to the number you gave to chc.

yeah true..they did with us like there was 15 days written in box and they cut it and wrote 10 days with pen
