I was talking about a joint bank account in Pakistan. I sent them statement of mine and my wife's joint bank account in Pakistan volutarily back in Oct 2011.

Can your husband get your name Joint on his bank account in Pakistan?

lhahahhahaha bhai my husband is a poor man n he doesnt have a bank account.
he used to work n saved his money in his house account lmao n now hes laid off from work for the last 5 months
so we dont have any joint account as of yet
insha'allah wen he comes with Allah swts will then we will insha'allah have everything joint

Rackeya my husband went to lahore for his re-med - he called on june 6 (day we received the re-med) and got the appointment for june 8

i am a curious little cat...

wondering how they handle over the phone nikah's... one of my friend is in that condition and he got married in 09 and applied in 10... hasnt heard much at all if anything from chc-isl... but that's coz his mom is under influence from some of her friends claiming all will be phine daunt ju burry...

and if the friend goes back home for rukhsati (which he hasnt yet) would that improve his scenario any? (i am thinking it might)

and how are over the phone nikkahs treated in general by chc-isl... normal, small delay, big delay, rejected...

Please welcome your friend to my nightmare, as my wife and I originally applied with a telephone nikkah being under the impression at the time it was sufficient. Applied March 2010 and are waiting patiently for an interview, which our interview queue celebrated its one year anniversary today.

We completed ruhksati in November 2011 and our latest caips has shown that they have received all our pictures and supporting documents that have been sent many time over the last year, but my wifes file has not been reviewed since it was placed in the interview one year ago today.

Needless to say, please share my timeline to your friend in hopes they can show their families that it is important to do a ruhksati with a telephone nikkah. Still no date on interview and my wifes application is now at 24 months with CHC-Islamabad.

My friend got married in 2006 and had her nikkah over the phone. Her husband got his PPR in 2009, exactly three years after nikkah and arrived the same day she went into labour with their first child. And this was ages ago, when they were processing cases within a year. So yeah, phone nikkah is meaningless.

did they ask for ur bank acct or a JOINT bank acct ? They asked my hubby for HIS bank acct statement.

as of June 1st 2012, if it has been less than 15 months since your first medical, they can extend it for another 12 months. so they can issue you your visa without doing another medical exam.

So it doesnt matter if the medical was done in 2011 rite?? Theres no condition for any specific month k if medical was done in ....month of 2012. My husband's medical was done in april 2011 so now the above condition applied to him hainnn naaaaaaaa :

So how long it will take to get PPR ?

what about the all documents my wife sent in March 2012, are those not still reviewed by Visa officer ?

I am just curious if re-med is part of expired medical routine or leading to PPR.
