All the waiting is a killer and I would not even wish this upon my enemy. Therefore anyone that asks me about getting married in pak and doing the immigration process, i advise them not to. If they can wait 2-3 years, go ahead but don't bother. Try any other country instead of Pakistan, Singapore and UAE (All in 20+ mths). But, we are human beings and we adapt to our surrounding and choices given to us. I won't be surprised if marriages in teens start to rise to cope with immigration timelines. :
Oye, University start ki hai... shaddi ker dou, begum aaja gee graduation taak LMAO.
As for the Allah comments. We tend to look to Allah when we have lost control on part of our lives/task/given up. When something is beyond ones understanding, one tends to hand it to Allah as a process of letting go. This can be positive and negative.
Positive: Losing someone close/love one and trying to understand why they were taken away. Handing it to Allah at this point is a good thing because it will help you move on. There is nothing anyone can do to bring your lost back. Acceptance and Letting go. Or in our cases, waiting on CHC don't do us any good. Pray and hope for the best. It will help time past but less painfully and help you focus on work. Otherwise your life will start falling apart: Lack of productivity, creation of bad eating habits, depression etc.
Negative: Problem arises, such as a troubled teenager you have or life changing event, unemployment. Instead of trying to solving it head on, we give up and pass it upstairs. Not my problem, its HIS now. He will solve it for me :-\. Allah gets the request alright...but Allah's timelines are longer than CHC
Know when ask for HIS help to conquer the issue at hand. HE helps those that make an effort not beg like a 4 year old for candy.
Just something to think about...not preaching as I am no where near as qualified but I try to learn and apply it to my life, from any faith not just islam.
