Hi there, I'm also a silent reader n the info helps. As I came across
Ur question I have some insight on it. Allcases r different and this only
Happened to 1 person that I have heard of, so plZ dot rely on only my answer.
A friend of my friend's went to Pakistan to get married. She only has her nikkah done
And Islamabad had an issue about it. I'm sure they didnt say it's fake but they asked for Walimah pics
N ruksathi n asked detailed questions.
She tried to tell them the concept of nikkah in islam, but however she had to end
Up going back to pak almost more than a year later n she got her ruksathi done as well.
Hope it helps

Hi Guys,
I have been following this group for couple of months. I think 24 months time frame is pretty bad for all the Pakistanis.
I checked New Delhi and even higher number of applicants for spousal immigration, their process is hardly taking 6 months.
I think we all have to collectively persue this matter to relavent Canadian authorities and ask them to expedite this process in Islamabad high comsission.
It is our right to ask why High Commission takes so long compare to other visa offices in the region.
Honeslty we need a voice so that immigration department can do something about it.
What do you guys think?
