I know bro, My file was transfered on 2nd December 2010 and never heard anything from them yet.
If people are getting response that fast then it is really good for them and for everybody,, but please if someone is joking around then I would request please don't play with other's emotions.

Congrats to all those who have been getting PPR requests! So happy for you! I am Nov/Dec2010 case and its odd to see Nov/Dec/Jan being skipped and Feb getting PPR Request? What did you put in your app man? Free Meetai Coupon?

I just got back from visiting my wife in Karachi. I applied with Nikkah but provided supporting docs and photos from engagement, nikkah, dinners. Did the Rukhsati and other traditional stuff this visit just in case they object. I emailed them that my wife's medical expired Oct 27th and if we should go for Re-Med or wait for official letter/request. I got generic email reply back that my app is initial review and we will not response if file number not mentioned blah blah. (yes, i had put file number with wife's info and mine with client ID too)

Don't know what to do.... :S They should switch to emailing vs mail. Its the digital age!

Anyways! Missing my wife.... patience ... patience...

It is not at all a requirement, but people do it voluntarily to further support their case. If you have provided enough proofs with your initial application; such as phone call logs, emails, chats, gift receipts, money transfer receipts, proof of visits from your husband, pictures of every function(during wedding) with details on the back, invitation cards etc then you shouldn've have to worry about it, you will not get an objection letter.

Just before the initial review, applicants send them updated proofs voluntarily so when its time for initial review the officer have enough evidence to say that the marraige seems genuine and by doing this they avoid unnecessary delays and objections.

When did you apply? Has it been 12 months since you applied or 12 months since the file transfered to Islamabad? Have you received any request letters from them?

Wes brother, its been 12 months since my file transfer to islamabad, on november 19th, havent recieved anything yet, no re-meds, no e-mails nothing, and i'm not sure if i have provided enough proofs, It's an arranged marriage so before the nikah i hardly spent time with him as he was just my father's friend's son, and the proofs i provided were the dholki pictures, nikah and wedding ceremony pictures along with the invitee pictures ( almost 1000 invitees) and the engagement setup pictures, plus pictures of time spent together in pakistan in 2010, along with more written proofs (about how close were were in past, and that he attended my 5th birthday party indicating our families were closely connected since that time)
