Battery issues...

That's the first thing I'm looking forward to, the day i land in my beloved Toronto ;D. I have reports of my car battery losing charge because of prolong exposure to underground parking! Thanx to my friends underground parking spot he lent me for few months!

lol any one looking for a mechanic ....... call this guy .......

Good mechanic ... immigrated from some country i guess Somalia ............ if you know what is problem with ur car ......... then u call him and get it fixed ...... he charges too less ......... i got a quote from mechanic of 500$ and he charged me 60$ labor and i bought drive shaft for 110...........

There is definately hope! May be when you receive rePCC, Imm forms request your remedical request would also be in there InshAllah. Have faith and everything will work out at the end of the day

sis I think re-medical is on your way any time now. Just keep your hopes high and keep praying Inshallah you will hear something within a month or two. I am not a expert but that is what I have seen in majority of the cases. Will pray for you.

lol i filed 10 days ahead of ya ........... and MP said that my file has just been reviewed ... couple of weeks ago ... so according to her info I would be getting letter soon .... so I think you would be receiving letter soon too ....

I am hoping that people living in Alberta could help me sort this out. I understand that in Alberta there is no waiting time of 3 months as in BC and ON to receive the medical insurance. But I am told if a person moves from out of the province then he/she will have 3 months waiting period. Consider a situation where one spouse is already living in Ontario and the other is immigrating to Canada. If both then move to alberta once the spouse living outside Canada arrives in Canada then will there still be a waiting time for both? As I understand that families need to apply together for Alberta Health Insurance.

Also, they require documents to prove Alberta residency before you can be registered. What documents are needed and are fast to obtain? It seems like drivers license, Alberta ID take some time. A bank statement can take as long as one month. Please advise.
