Any news from those whose address disappeared from ECAS last week??? Please update

Just tweety44 heard from chc after her address disappeared nov 1 i think.

Typically when the parents visit, they used to do so for maxmium of 6 months and insurance is optional. So this insurance quote may be based on that. Now the super visa allowed 2 years stay in one length, and I am sure insurance is mandotary in this case. So the insurance companies will come up with new plans which will be far more expensive.

Initial review means when the file is opened first time after issueing AOR. After that you willl always get the response that "file is in queue to be reviewed by Immigration officer" or "file is in queue to be reviewed". You will soon receive the new immigrations forms, if required, and remedical and then passport request.
The last stage reply will be " file is in queue to be reviewed by decision making officer".

This is a good sign. Now your file is in the next step than Initial Review. Would you please tell us when your file was transferred to CHC-I ?

the cost varies based on age and pre-existing medical conditions but to my understanding its quite expensive, it also depends on underwriting policies of the insurance companies which are based on information from past claims and combination of medical conditions, age etc, but it will be a good info to share.
loner bro i have sent you a PM...please reply to me when you read my message :)

My wife did her re-medical on Oct 18th, how long does it take for CHC-IS to receive the medical results. Its been 3 weeks and her online status still hasn't been updated; whether, they have received her medical results or not. Does anyone know about the time duration?

I have sent 2 emails chc to request file number but no respons and both have expired 15 days have passed
