just a general inquiry...if someone wants to withdraw case..like wants to stop process before initial review at CHC-I..is it possible to restart the case from the stage it was stopped or one cant do it??? someone wanted to know :

Once an application is withdrawn the time frame for processing starts again from day of approval of the new application. If you want this could be verified with the CIC call centre in Canada.

Yes they can apply again without any objection. Someone I know had a similar issue. He had filed an application in 2005 but withdrew it because of some personal situation in his family. He then filed again in 2008 and landed in Canada in 2009.
