finally i have decided to post here to get some suggestionss,

applied june 2009
aor aug 2009
re pcc april2010
initial review sept 2010
imm forms + supplementary forms feb 2011
remed + ppr may 2011
re pcc request ( got to know from mp....no official letter....re pcc sent july 2011)
my first baby born in canada aug 2011
request for birth certificate sept 2011 (through email) BIrth certificate sent sept 2011 first week.
now again waiting
been 4+mmonths since sent my hubbys pp

any comments /suggestions as y is it taking so long for them to stamp my hubbys pp?
and why they r doing this?
been in contact with mp....she is helping but when she contacts embassy she gets to everything is complete and there is no hold on file and its just matter of days....this is reply i m getiing since july 2011

what should i do now? is it ok for them to keep the pp for so many months? should i contact any lawyer...?
my hubby has a very straight frwd case.....no visits anywhere ...always lived at one plce...
plz suggest

that is harsh for them to drag your case that long...Inshallah it will end soon!

Hi-can some tel me what does this mean cuz once I applied caips in aug.8 they send me the same answer,consultation is required before releasing the info.extenion of 60 days-etc.and today I chhecked with her and she said ur caips relez date-Nov 07.but I was expecting on oct 7.plZzz advise I am sacreed why they ar doing this---plZzzz help.thanks

I have good news to share with you guys, that my wife got her passport back today with Canadian Visa stamped. I am very very excited and thanking Allah. May wife already booked ticket through PIA and landing Toronto on October 14th Inshallah. I hope everyone in this forum get togather with their beloved ones soon and safe Inshallah. Please pray for us that she lands safely....

My time line is...
May 13 2010: Applied to CPC Mississauga
July 21 2010: File transfered to CHC Islamabad.
September 15 2010: Reqested more pic+documents.
June 01 2011: Re-PCC+imm
June 28 2011: Remedical Done
September 24 2011: PPR
September 26 2011: PP sent to CHC by TCS.
September 27 2011: PP received to Nasir.
October 4 2011: PP came back with visa stamped.

FYI: My e-case still shows as "In process". By the way my address was disappeared for 4 days from sep 27 to 30 and came back again, still there.

my pport reached on 26th sept which was monday. my ecas also shows in process. inshAllah it will change soon.

My wife got her passport today, which was reached Tuesday Sep 27. Inshallah you will get your PP back this week. Keep praying to Allah....

Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review by an immigration officer. Applicant's file has been forwarded for background checks and is in queue for checks initiation.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE SHARE THEIR VIEWS ON THIS...HIS REMED WAS DONE SEPT. 6/11....HOW MUCH LONGER MIGHT THIS PROCESS TAKE...I MAEN THEY HAVENT EVEN STARTED B.ROUND CHECKS, I NO THEY DID B.CHECKS IN JULY AS WELL...AS PER THE EMAIL THEY SENT ME BEFORE...BUT I AM A LIL CONFUSED....HELP PLZ??

They conduct background checks even after the Re-medical. From what I have heard and read, I can only think of a couple of reasons. If your husband changed addresses, jobs or something that he mentioned in his IMM Forms that he sent with Re-PCC then the chances for another background check increase highly. Also if you noticed, they are giving a hard time to some husband cases as they are dragging the cases for no valid reason.
