then there r others who r waiting longer than us as well.. so please have patience and do dua for everyone

Khan's husband was lucky to have his file fall into the 12 months (20%) Category, it doesn't happen much, but when it does it feels good. Alhumdolillah! I hope the timeline just drops to 12months or even earlier for everyone...

Guyz ,

I saw a list before showing those people who have done their Re-Medical and waiting for PPR.I will appriciate if somebody can post it again.

hello guys

i was reading a background information to complete a survey questionnaire of CIC to improve immigration process, available on the official website.

Here is quote from this information:

"Family Class

Approximately 26% of the immigrants who come to Canada each year do so under the family class. Most countries don’t have a family class program. Ours is one of the most generous in the world.

Canadian citizens or permanent residents over the age of 18 may sponsor their immediate family members, subject to sponsorship agreements of 3 (spouses/partners, children) to 10 years (parents and grandparents). It is important to note that in addition to this, close to two-thirds of economic class immigrants are actually family – i.e. the spouses/partners and dependent children of principal applicants, which means a minority of economic class immigrants (principal applicants) are actually selected according to their skills and experience."

Guys pls note that they select the principal applicants according to skills and experience...it means that those who got professional degree or post graduate or doctorate degree are on top priority.... :-X

Any info about this information????

Yes their family class program is generous, but at the same time, they want immigrants who contribute to their economy. Of course, they are not running a charity program. It is give and take. And, for this reason, I feel Indians and Chinese are given priority, because these two countries focus more on education & produce more graduates. They are more likely to take up jobs in Canada and pay taxes.

And just my two cents, when filing an application, I do not think there's any harm in highlighting your educational qualifications. And showing that you have previous work experience is also a positive for you. And so is learning french.
