By the grace of Allah , finally finally finally my wife got her passport back with Visa today .

She did her medical on 6th July 2011 and sent her passport the same day . Her e-cas changed to decision made yesterday and today she got her passport back with visa .

If your wife has done her remedical in June 2011, expect her PPR soon. They are clearing and finalizing wife cases from Jan2010 to July2010.

Thank you So much for your reply humpakwatan, I am a little relief now May Allah also unite you with your spouse and finish this long wait for you and all of us here who are waiting. The fact that I have not receive supplemetary forms for pakistan from islamabad after a month of them receiving the file is something bad? do I have to worry about that and should i contact them regarding that or that is normal for them to do that. And I have send some proffs like phone bills, emails, pictures about four months ago and I send them email but no reply what so ever of confirming that they have received it or not and also i send those documents with my client id number on the cover letter because I did not know at that time how to get the file number. Should I send them again everything after getting my file number from them? and I also I will ask them for the status as well inshallah. Thank you so much for your help and congrats to everyone who have received their visa or passport requests may allah unite us all with our spouse and make this hard time assaaan for all of us.

It is normal for them to take 8-10 months after your file gets to islamabad to start to ask you for things like a medical or more documents etc. You should have however gotten a supplementary form for pakistan from islamabad after a month of them recieving the file as they ask you to fill it and send it back. Probably by October or Nov you will get IMM +Supplementary forms again to fill and re Police Certificate and then re medical requests ( with hopefuly no letter of objections or interview etc).


You should probably emails isbad to see what they say where your file is at this point. And the ECAS stays the same IN PROGRESS until the DECISION MADE shows up on it after you get the visa so dont be concerned with that too much.

In the mean time if you want you can send them voluntary proofs of your relationship ( pics, emails, call logs, skype call records, chat, etc)

Also many people have complained that since Oct last year Islamabad is not sending out any acknowledgement of receipt letters so probably your husband is one of them. You can email and get the file number from the embassy if you do not have that in your letter.
