Re-med, PCC and IMM forms + addional proof req came all together between April - June 2011
Now clueless and hopeful that one day they will remember my file and will decide to do something about it…

Ya our timeline is probably the same batch Ya I do know my Client ID num, You receive that once your documents are transferred to CHC Islamabad. Life is good. Just waiting out this stressful time away from my husband. What about u? is yours a wife case? and how have your Med's already been requested?? My med didn't get requested ???

well medial etc will update via FILE NUMBER not with Client iDD.Still i dont know my File number.planning to email CIC to know about File number..

You can actually email them now to get your file # as your File transfer date is March 25, 2011.

Really? I was going to msg you or 'wes' for details on exactly when you should receive a FILE number. all I have is a Client ID which we use to check our status online. Maybe we've overlooked it? Where can it be found if so.?

You have to email CHC Islamabad to get your File number from them. Its been 4 months since your file transfer so they would have already created your file number. Do you know the email address for Islamabad embassy and what you are supposed to write in the email ?

Before they used to send AOR letters to the person being sponsored. They don't send the AOR letter anymore, so now people email them to get their Immigration File number.

But strangely, i tried logging onto ecas with my file number but it wouldn't log me in. tried with receipt number without any problem. I emailed them about it and they just replied back with their usual email - file is in queue for initial review. i wonder if they even read emails. i asked a few other questions too (from my husband's email address) and none were answered. pathetic!

You have to make sure that when you are entering your file number, you are also entering the information of the person being sponsored (Your husbands info: Last Name, DOB, Country of Birth etc). If you enter the sponsors info it wouldn't log you in. Their replies are generic and they don't answer any questions generally in the emails.

when did your status change to decision made?

Also was your PP delivered to your doorstep or u had to pick it up from TCS office?

Our status changed the day we got our Passport. So while I was checking the status online early morning in bed my wife calls me up with the news of receiving the passport. Good timing i guess
