It's ok everyone used to ask this to me as well and make jokes but since 1 week now all those people have shut up and are not saying anything because they can't say anything. In fact those same people are coming to congratulate us now and they can't make jokes about it seeing as their own son in law hasn't come yet but my husband came already so just dont listen to what others say and continue ur life like it doesn't bother you.

wow work for him already...lol that is good that at least he doesnt have to struggle this way cuz after the visa next problem is to find a job in Canada... ;D I am so happy for you...aise hi speed chali to soon you will come back (prolly in two weeks) with the news that we all are going to be Khala/Mamo soon haha

I know allhumdulillah we are lucky in the fact that he doesn't have to find a job, he just has to train with some gora's and travel around Canada to get qualified but otherwise job is there. LOL inshAllah one day I will tell you that you will be khala but right now first we need to get permanent resident card and get settled

Thanks Danny brother. If I'm not mistaken it's about 6-7 months that CHC-I has received ur wife's case right? are you planning to send them additional supporting docs (proof of contact etc)

Yeah, I am in the process of mailing additional supporting docs & recent proof of contact. It's always a good thing to keep them updated, this way they have enough proof of relationship by the time they open the file for Initial review. Good move in my opinion.

If the mailing address in ECase disappears/not showing does it mean it's a system glitch or something else. Here is why I am curious to know my friend's application is at her 13 months and her address has disapeared in ECase for a few days now and my case is at 7 months and when I check my application status on ECase my address is their. So if it was a system glitch it should effect all not just a few people. Right? Does it mean they are working on her case?

I think it's a glitch because my husband has landed and it already says "You landed on July 8th etc etc" but his address disappeared after everything is already done and im pretty sure they probably already threw our file out

aww my parents wouldn't let me go either but then i went in December after explaining to them the situation that who knows when he will come etc and then they understood inshAllah your parents will as well. And hopefully you hear good news while you are there. ;D

I agree bother. I pray that our processing time won't be as long, and they finalize 09/2010 cases quickly so they can get to 2011. Let hope for the best!
