Hi guys,

Could the people who have already received ppr requests, help answer this question.

How did the ppr request come - through normal mail, registered mail or courier (tcs,etc) ?

I have sponsored my wife (app started March 2010 and she recently submitted her remedical). But she and her family are leaving for a month long vacation and there wont be anyone to receive mail at her house during that period. If we knew how CIC sends PPR requests, we can go ahead and talk with the mailman or the tcs delivery team incharge to look out for mails for us.

Pls let me know how you folks got your ppr request (whether it was normal mail, registered mail or courier)

brother they use both services (regular mail & TCS) i got my ppr by regular mail... app mailman and tcs man jo app k area ko mails deleiver karnai aty hain contact kar sakty hain

Background checks doesnt take time, specially if it is wife case. All the time they took is becasue of file sitting in Q. Once the file is open, it takes around 6-8 months to finish.

apparently remedical is on the way - while they do background checks to save time.
how long backgrounds take?
we have a straight forward case.. my daughters even got her citizenship and we are applying for her passport this week.
waiting game now...i guess

Can any one tell me what to write in clause 5 of PPR letter that says,

"I authorize the following person to collect my passport and other related documents from the courier company"

brother leave this peragraph # 5... don't sign here and don't write any name from these three (representative/consultant/lawyer) just leave it and fill out the peragraphs 1 & 6

hey i have a question from everyone whose ecas went from in process to decision made....
yaarr humara it still says in process but the adress has disappeared...

strange or normal??

might be possible they opened ur file and found medical results.. and made a decision and sent ur passport for visa stamp thats why address disappears but forget to update online...

i think its normal hamari tarha wo bi bechary tension main hain and you know tension main galti ho hi jati hai... shyd tension main kuch mistake kar di hun unhon nai lakin is say app k kamm par koi asr nahin pary ga cuz app nai i'm sure koi letter nahin bhaja ho apna addres change karnai k liye so don't worry...

yes brother/sister, app ko email karnai ki zaroorat nahin hai cuz i don't think so k wo app ko reply dain gay is bary main and hopefully app ko jald AOR letter mil jaye ga
