hello all
i am a silent reader on the forum..my wife's aor is july 2010 and we got married in feb 2010 .she teaches in a private business university in karachi.
we havent heard from islamabad since aor.
what are the prospects of a visit visa if we claim that the website says 23 months processing time and we are only in our 12th month.
can we make a request for visit visa if she get s a letter from the university for the semester from sept 2011 to jan 2012 off, and wants to spend these 3 months with me.
do u think we have a good chance of getting it?
advice will be highly appreciated..

yaarr humara it still says in process but the adress has disappeared...

OK Medical test is nothing to worry you cant really change your results with pre-prep unlike school exams but anyway it includes.
- Blood sampling (Can b any blood test)
- Urine Sampling
- Xray of Chest (for TB I guess)
- Height, weight,
- Few general questions about diseases if u have any in past like HIV, Hepatitis C etc
- Few more like do u smoke, drink, eat etc
Most important Medical Fee of doc
Guys put in if am missing anything

Looking at your timeline, I would think that you should be hearing something soon as currently they are proceesing June & July 2010 AORs. They are sending Re-PCC and Supp Forms for updated information. I would suggest you to wait for a month for your Re-PCC and Supp forms. Once you submit your Re-PCC and Supp forms, you are looking at 4-5 months for your wife to get her Visa. I wouldn't suggest you to apply for a visit Visa as if things go well, your wife would most likely be here with you in the next 6 months. Hope it helps.

"We received (My Name)'s application for permanent residence on May (xx), 2011."
would my aor date be May (xx) or would it be when they actually start working on my file and update the E-cas as like, we started processing your app on falan falan date???
and should i email them to get my immig file # ??? as it's been more than a month since they received my file at CHC-I...please guide

AOR date is when ISB starts processing your file. If it has been 1.5 months or over, then you should e-mail them for an IMM file number.
