ummmm... yea i guess you're right... but sometimes when the situation gets hopeless, and you want to keep moving on and stay strong.. you need some kind of hope to push you through. I am sure we all pray as much as we can...there is no doubt about that...but when things are not moving at all you do come to a point where you need something.. anything... to look forward too. Right now, there has been an absolute silence from the embassy.. We know that the embassy can't give us any answer because the files are not with them.We have no one who can guide us and tell us how long the case will take... its like you've been thrown in a dark cave and you can never figure out how to get out of there... In a situation like this when One 2 Ka said that he knows a way to push the embassy just gave us a hope... I am sure that its not going to make any difference, but still maybe i was able to pass 2 days because of this. I know its like fooling yourself... but really in so much time i've way passed my limits of sanity.

See you are just going to crate more complications with ur relationship like this, i am on the same boat my wife is alone over there with our kid she has to go to work taking care of the baby and do all the things on her own we filed our application in March 10 and it was transferred to ISB in June 10. I have long wait ahead of me my wife is facing a very hard time alone over there and i am helpless cant do anything but we are positive and keeping the faith that one day or another this nightmare would be over.
keep urself busy in everyday life i was thinking just to ignore this forum for a while cuz more i come over here more i feel stressed after reading others cases but then i log in to see if there is anything new :) plz stay positive your time would come soon May Allah Bless you.

Hi GUYS, I am sorry I am just a normal guy not a expert, but ofcourse I handle all my legal work myself here in Canada.

And as mentioned by BestPlace4you we should not be getting advice from each other or should listen others, just wait and Insha allah one day we all will get VISA.

BestPlace4you, Allah subhana tallah also mentioned that we need to use our efforts and than pray & do tawakil on Allah ofcourse YES than he will accept our dua's and will complete the task. GOT IT.

Why dont you just not go to work and stay at home and wait that Allah will give you your monthly salary with out putting any efforts from your side.

Sorrys guys.

Cheers

And again YES the file is handle by embassy peoples and the timeline is almost 9 month same for everybody, but providing a strong evidance supporting documents will for sure make the differnce to complete the file on time.

Its like a 2 different legal case ONE is prepared by a normal Lawyer and the 2ND file is prepared by a expert lawyer who knows what information need to be look for.

FYI.. Since Embassy will be closed on Sep9th & 10th so I have changed my mind sending additional doc's after EID now and ofcourse YES I will let you guys know about the outcome. Next month is going to be my 9 month heeeyyyyyy crossing my fingers.

Cheers

Hi I understand I can not push the the file, but if we provide the strong supporting evidence than YES they dont have any reason or right to delay the case. CASE AT CHC-ISB is like you are in a court room so its depend on you how much strong evidence you have in your case if YES judge will make the decision immidetialy or on the other hand if your case is ready with less strong or useless information it will further delay the Judge decision and you will be asked to come back again for hearing 2 month after and bring additional information - GOT IT.

It is really hard to explain to averge peoples how the Law & legal system work, to me presenting a case in CHC-ISB is exactly the same as you are in a court room and how fast & how much strong evidence you can provide to get a decision or it will be delayed due to unsatisfied information. Next month will be 9 month on my file and 90% chances are my spouse will get the VISA insha allah.

Good luck to all & yes CHEERS

Hi guys here is a copy of my letter to Minister office through email. and I know being a PKSTNI nation we cannot stick with a point If something do something other's start to criticise hime and foul around just like our politics. So I know I will be criticiszed from many of you, but I have fullfill my responsibility. CHEERS.

The Honorable Jason Kenney, P.C., M.P.
Citizenship and Immigration Canada

Subject: Spousal sponsorship timeline at Canadian High Commission – ISLAMABAD (PAKISTAN)

I want to draw your attention towards a humanitarian crises developing in Pakistan after the disastrous flood in Pakistan, this was a natural calamity where no one can do anything other than helping the people affected by this calamity,

I understand Immigration policies are little different for Pakistan. Canadian consulate in India has 2-3 months time frame for spousal sponsorship and for Pakistan its 10-14 months. I don't think CHC-Islamabad's staffs are inefficient themselves, but they were directed from Canadian Immigration purposely to be inefficient for Pakistanis.

We are required to overdo the documentation and despite that we have to suffer the most. Being a Pakistani is not a crime. After providing them with a million proofs and original documents we still have to bear the painstaking period of waiting. There should be a definite time period for the “In Process" status. It seems they delay the process intentionally to discourage people from moving to Canada from this part of the World.

As a Canadian citizen, a valid tax payer and fulfilling citizen duties we should be able to unite with our spouses, something that Canada prides itself on is family reunification.

It is my right to raise my voice against human rights and the way Canadian High Commission process the spouses case at Islamabad-Pakistan is what I call a TORTUE on a human relationship in my opinion.

I am requesting you on the behalf of Pakistani Canadian community through this letter that Honourable minister of citizenship and immigration should consider the matter seriously to help us to reunite with our family. Canadian Immigration audit team should look into this issue and expedite the spousal immigration process to maximum of 5 months for Pakistan, as the lengthy and unnecessary delay process can take a physical and emotional toll on someone life and relationship.

On behalf of Pakistani Canadian community,

I remain,
My Name & addresss

Hello People,
I am new here, didnt know something like this exist. I applied for my husband in January 2009,went back to Pakistan thinking that since i am a canadian citizen it wont make any difference .To my surprise i received a rejection letter in August 2009 stating that the imm officer is not convinced that i'll be coming back to canada once my husband gets his PR.I flew back to canada in September and submitted all i could to prove that we want to settle here once my husband gets the stamp. We submitted the criminal and medical all over again in Dec 2009. I have been living here since then and still there seems no hope.
I have drafted many letters like the one above .Trust me i feel i made a mistake by writing them. The embassy no matter what you do will take its due time. I have friends who applied before me and are still waiting.
By reading the posts on this forum i see many in the same boat as i am and i dont mean to discourage anyone here but we might have to wait more before we reunite with our loved ones.We have to accept the fact that Pakistan is a war zone and in the last e mail they sent me they were very clear to mention that these are unusual times and cases might get delayed for a longer period of time...................

Prey!!!!
