Chat Logs - Just How much evidence

I'm with mikeymyke . . . if it's a difficult VO (like Singapore) then include some of it, if it's a VO like ours (Manila) then perhaps "none" of it. We sent in NO such chat logs, Skype logs, or the like.

We are going through the Singapore VO. My plan is to categorize the evidence into different categories, discussion/evidence from a combination of media (Facebook, email, WhatsApp, Skype) such as;

-faith (shared interest in Buddhism, as well as our thoughts on our respective religions, Islam/Christianity
-interaction of/with friends and family
-relationship talk (including some of the doozy fights we had)
-general small talk (after all, couples can't jsut talk love and romance 100% of the time)
-shared interests (like the environment, gardening, cooking etc.)

And in these categories, we would have a wide range of dates, as best we can.

of course there will also be the phto evidence - trips, wedding/reception, etc., photos of gifts given/received, scans of cards to each other, letters of support from friends/family, etc.

Looks good to me.

While it is good to show that you have disagreements like any real couple (and especially how you worked out the disagreement to resolve it), no need to dwell too much on them

ColdStream63 has posted in other threads so some of us are already familiar with his case. What I do know is that chat logs are near the bottom in priority to CIC, regardless of the VO. He has other better, and really strong, proof that makes the chat logs not that much of a big deal in his case. He just needs few pages here and there across the duration of his long distance relationship to suffice.

Okay...I've downloaded the Viber and WhatsApp chat logs, and I have a bazillion pages to go through. I want to show CIC the ongoing relationship my fiance and I have, and include some of the drama we've been through the past several years, all things good and bad, but there is SO MUCH!

What have you guys done in selecting the best bits here and there. I mean, there are whole pages of discussion that speak volumes to certain times in our relationship.

I obviously can't select everything, but I want to give them something good and appropriate that shows the ongoing aspects of our relationship.

Wa there a methodology or strategy you guys employed when it came to this? We have 3-4 years of talking DAILY (except the odd time we fought...)

IMHO.... I don't think u need to put so much effort into categorizing ur conversations... they don't have the time to read through them.... spend the time on organizing ur pics.... in the end those r more important than conversations.... with my application I only sent 4-5 screen shots of my iphone all on a single page.... n nobody questioned it.... if they require it they will ask for it.... they will not read through line by line of things that u talked about...

so don't waste ur time.... put the time into organizing the pictures
