I had applied for a super visa 6 months back when we were in India. For some reason, it took really long to get the super visa decision to come. Now my mom is in Canada, and she has got the request to send the passport to the county mentioned in the application, which is in India. Do you know what I can do about this? Is there any way to get the visa on the passport here in Canada itself?

Also, we want to extend her stay here in Canada without leaving it. Do I need to apply for another visa extension?

Email CPC-Ottawa + NDVO to confirm that you can submit her passport to CPC-O for stamping the super visa. This is doable

Send an email to the Delhi VFS office as well as Ottawa office. They will do the needful.

Email address:

DELHI-IMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca
CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca

Include the following information:

Your application number;

Surname and Given name(s);

Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD);

Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number or Passport number;

I had personally experienced this and it took around a week for the Ottawa immigration office to respond to my email. Trust this helps!

Yes you need to apply for a visa extension if her visa is expiring. You should apply 30 days before the end of the visa. No guarantee it will be approved.
