Change marital status to married

Hi everyone

I want your assessment for ( Express Entry ) , My GF apply for EE and get high score by herself then she get ITA ,Now she only have 60 days to Prepare her papers ...
Our question here if we want to get marriage and modify her marital status in front the embassy from single to married and take visa with her what should we do ? and what the procedures ?

There are many differents cases based on your combined calculated scores :

1. She adds you post ITA and you get married before the 60 days mark , in this case , the score points will be recalculated based on both your profiles, if it the resulted score remain higher than the cutoff score ( in the case of the last draw higher than 478 ), you can apply otherwise it will be rejected ( if its lower than 478 assuming you got ITA in the last draw).
2. She adds you post AOR in this case the score points shall not be recalculated, this route takes time and will slow further the application by several months.
3. She adds you after PPR , same situation it will take additional two to three months, sometimes less or sometimes more it depends.
4. Finally the last option and the most complicated one , she sponsors you after landing in Canada, this wilk take up to a year or more to get approved.

Based on your post , you said before embassy so after PPR am I right ? This is the case number 3 above mentioned, when she gets there you should raise a request online through a link ( IRCC webform) , send them mariage certificate and then they will open boxes for you on her profile where you can upload your documents usually medicals and polices certificates, good luck.
