Cant believe I am posting this after 17 long hard months but finally got the MR 10 minutes ago
I am very happy for you mate! You are a good man and you have always taken initiative to make authorities to listen our voices. I have exactly the same timeline as you (same filing and AOR receiving date). CIC requested additional documents this week from me and I have already sent my upfront medical this week, for which I have got confirmation as well. Finally, our time has come.

I got my MR last night! Finally!

Application received: October 14th 2014
AOR: February 11th 2015

Just to check, does this mean that apart from passing the medical itself and any other police checks, etc, they might want, that we are provisionally accepted? Like, they've basically accepted us?

Also, I've followed the link in the email for the list of panel physicians, but the drop down list for choosing your country is empty. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried it on different computers and different browsers, plus, I know I've looked at it in the past and it's been working.

Good luck to you all!

processing time 18 months...

mine has almost 18 months

ME feb. 9th

MER Feb. 28

RPRF Feb. 28

After that, nooooo News. >:( >:( >:(

I would say mail CIC right after you get the confirmation from the doctor saying your medicals have been uploaded. then you will see much progress

Simple thing I learnt from past. Do not send them unnecessary documents and unnecessary correapondence because everything stay on you file.

Sending medical acknowledgement (received from medical office) to CIC is not an unnecessary document. I personally saw the benefit of sending the ack right after I got confirmation from doctor. If that was a unnecessary communication with CIC then CIC would not have been responded back to me saying that your medicals have been received. So Highly recommended to inform CIC about your medicals.

But I agree with you if an applicant sending T4, stubs bla bla without asking. That is for sure an unnecessary communication.
