Hello everyone,

I did my upfront medical today. Shall I inform cic today.. Or shall I wait for few days as Doctor said he will take a week to upload my e medicals... As results for my blood, urine and x ray will take a week... Any thoughts? Shall I wait for a week or I inform cic today?

Hi, You can send the emedicals information sheet to CIC by email. No need to wait for the results.

Am a 2nd Oct applicant. I did my Medicals upfront on 04 Jul 15 and the same got reflected in ECAS last month after emailing to CIC. Below is the addition to my ECAS status as of today. Looks like there is some movement in our file. Stay positive

We received your application for permanent residence on October 2, 2014.
We started processing your application on February 25, 2015.
Medical results have been received.

My time line is Application sent- 1 Oct, 2014
Application received - 10th Oct 2014
AOR received- 12th Feb 2015.

Looks like just an update that they have started processing the files. Not sure if it means something very good. Any thoughts?

Me as well. I don't count on this too much either. It looks like this is just a standard update. For EE applicants, they started to add this line after AOR. So, now they are just matching this line to EE procedure.

Given multiple applicants' recent GCMS notes have no progress, I really doubt that they "started processing our applications 8 month ago".

The concern I have is they might use this date to start that 14 month processing time period.

Same here; got a 3rd line appearing this morning:
1- We received your application for permanent residence on October 14, 2014.
2- We started processing your application on March 4, 2015.
3- Medical results have been received.

I'm an October 14th applicant...

I do have a question though. On June 29th they asked me to give them a police certificate (they apparently received it last week directly from the consulate), my T4 and my NoA. I got my T4 after suing my boss (it took me a while to get them) but now I am waiting for the Canada Revenue Agency to reassess my taxes. It's been a month now, and it can take up to another month.

I sent them my T4 via mail as well as a copy of my medicals, and a letter explaining that I had to sue my boss, blabla, started a process to be recognized as employed and not self employed (which would make me ineligible to CEC) so it took me some time to get my T4.

My deadline is on Saturday to get my NoA. Should I send them another email explaining that CRA is still working on my case, and that I should have the papers soon? The person in charge of my employed/self employed file even wrote me a letter explaining that I am currently fighting with my boss... Maybe I could send it?

Second line added for me. 7 th Oct applicant. But mine is bit different I received Aor in email on 13 th feb but Ecas says processing started from 25 th feb 2015

I too see a second line added to ECAS:
1.We received your application for permanent residence on October 14, 2014.
2.We started processing your application on March 4, 2015.

I received my AOR on Feb 12, 2015; and was expecting the second line would correspond to that date. So, does that mean AOR date is not officially the start of processing date?.. and the total processing time as per current timelines would get stretched further afterall

i'm pretty sure it's just a standard update on their system to reflect the processing date. but interesting thing is dates do not correspond to AOR date. my AOR was received on feb 10 but second line says we started processing your application feb 25th.

my friend who's application was received sep/02/2014 has second line saying started processing application jan/28/2015 but his AOR recieved on jan/14/2015.

Same thing happened. Second line added. Different date other than AOR received date. I am worried now, as they count 14 months from the date they started processing or the date they actual received an application??
