Same thing happened. Second line added. Different date other than AOR received date. I am worried now, as they count 14 months from the date they started processing or the date they actual received an application??

So if we take their processing start date, then we are half way through.. We have 7 more months left on our cards.
Patience is the key for us. ;)

They received my application October 14 2014.
They started processing March 04 2015.

And I havent received a medical request and police check yet. Any information how will I received it by email or mail?

The processing time is calculated from the day that cic received the application not from the day they start processing it.
See link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?q=068&t=3

Another good piece of information is that there is not a maximum time for them to finish an application.
All this information can be found in cic website.

I believe CIC did a mass update yesterday ;) even I got the 2nd line updated:

We received your application for permanent residence on October 17, 2014.
We started processing your application on March 4, 2015.

That's a good news. I thought they calculated from the day when application number is generated. How many of you guys received medical and RCMP check request? I haven't been asked and still waiting. I am already here for almost three years and hope medical and RCMP check can be waived.

I have a friend who was a 2013 CEC applicant and he got his medical and rcmp check waived. We have pretty the same NOC and never been outside Canada more than three weeks during the past 3 years. We both did medical check and criminal check at the time when we first came to Canada.
