Do you know if cap is reached, will our files be returned to us? I am kind of stuck in the middle now. Before sending the app, I didn't make a copy for IELTS TRF. Now I would need that for applying EE. This is really getting annoying.

You can request an additional TRF. It takes around 2 weeks - 3 weeks.

Dont worry about that. It happened to me too. Just ask your test center to send u additional TRF. takes 3-5 days to reach.

Bad news guys. My friend's package was received on Oct 24th and CIC replied it will be returned as global cap has been reached.

When did CIC reply to him with that answer?
Did he apply under CEC or FSW?

He applied CEC. He sent inquiry on Nov 2014 and got reply this morning. The email said MI12 global cap has been reached.

When I called them December 1st week they said the updated number of applications received will be updated on the 13th. On 13th it was just half way. Did they say the application will be sent back IF the cap is reached or that the Cap has reached. Coz even i was given the same answer in Dec. If he has sent the req in Nov then it will be the same case

This is part of the email he received this morning. To my understanding, cap is probably reached a few days before Jan 23, 2015, which is 8000 app cashed. Therefore it makes sense that it is still within the cap in Dec when you called.

t is a very stressful moment for all of us at this point of time. I would suggest anyone of us make an official enquiry thru am MP and figure out. It still sounds insane that the cap information can be so deceiving on their website after the Dec 13 update.
We do not know, under what pretext has the email been sent.

just found the root of the problem. someone read it on a chinese website. Nobody's friend got anything.
