Thanks psab2014! Do you know if your medicals have been uploaded? They say 5 days on their website.

I think it's 5 business days, there is nothing different in my status on ECAS so far!

Yup I am. Oct 10 applicant.upfront everything. No update.

Same here Oct 7th But I don't believe I will hear anything back because am from a visa exempt country. I will just get Corp in the mail Hopefully the end of April :-X :-\

They will ask you to send copies of your passport before you get COPR.

Only thing that is bothering me is that surely they may need some new documents or something but haven't been asked for anything.

Hi all ,I'm 17th October applicant. I got document request e-mail today. I was asked to provide NOA form of 2014 in a month. However, I worked in Canada from September 2013 to September 2014, than I left Canada. After that , I didn't receive any NOA document form CRA and our tax report work are finished by PWC . How can I get NOA document in this situation? Thanks for your help!!!

Besides, If I can't get the NOA of 2014, does that mean my application will be rejected?

IF you have worked until Sep 2014 and left, then I dont think you have filed your taxes for 2014. usually the employer provides T4 in the beggining of the year so in your case. your company should have sent you your T4 in Feb or March 2015 and you are responsible to file your taxes. Once you file your taxes, CRA will send you the Notice of Assessment(NOA) so if you havent done your taxes, you wont get NOA.

My suggestion would be to contact your company and request T4 again and file your taxes ASAP. This is the tax season so IDK how long CRA will take to assess your taxes and send you your NOA.

Also, if you have already filed your 2014 taxes and need NOA. You can login to CRA and download the online version of NOA. See CRA website to get details on how to login.

Hope this helps.

It happened to me in the past that an NOA was not sent to me by CRA, although, I filed my taxes properly as soon as I had all my tax slips together. I guess, they forgot or perhaps, it got lost in the mail. If you have filed your taxes, simply give CRA a call and request copies of your NOAs. They will send them to you asap. You can also download your copies in MyAccount on CRA's website, but the format is different.

oba_14 , ohWow are correct.
  • If you didn't file Tax for year of 2014 then you should file it now.
  • If you have filed it already then just log into your CRA account and download the NOA pdf version from there. (In case you don't have CRA account , you can make one online or just call CRA and ask them to send your 2014 NOA copy at a Canadian address. You should get in mail within a week)
Hope it helps !

ooh, Long Weekend yeah, I'm keeping fingers crossed to see some real progress for October applications after this long weekend.

Let's think like this way. Maybe they are trying to finish all the last batch of the old CEC applicants by the end of this week. And then update the Ecas file or email us, so finally they can close this old CEC system. ;D
