Thats the valid thing and most of them do this way. Also did you gave your Employment letter to CIC under Client company or Contracting company?americandesimd said:Pay the contract company and I used to get my payslips from the contracting company. The contracting company used to pay me after taking their share
Letter from the contracting company. But I mentioned sole proprietor on the letter and I think this got the VOs attention.neevan said:Thats the valid thing and most of them do this way. Also did you gave your Employment letter to CIC under Client company or Contracting company?
Were you getting a cheque or direct deposit on you incorporation (Business account) or personal account?americandesimd said:Letter from the contracting company. But I mentioned sole proprietor on the letter and I think this got the VOs attention.
Yeah see thats the problem. The VO came to know everything, you couldnt have mentioned that part.americandesimd said:Letter from the contracting company. But I mentioned sole proprietor on the letter and I think this got the VOs attention.

So one thing is for sure that the VO does not marked you as self employed. I think the better way would be that you should have given LOE rom your employer and as you were paid by the contracting company(which I assume) you should have mentioned that the pay is coming from that account.americandesimd said:Direct deposit personal savings account

He did mark me as self employed as it was evident from the word sole proprietor mentioned in the exp letter. Is it worth writing CIC again and explaining then my situation. Are there any hopes?vikrantcanada said:So one thing is for sure that the VO does not marked you as self employed. Thanks. U mean the skilled worker category on EE correct?Kota1978 said:Hi Buddy,
Sorry to hear your refusal letter.
Actually under old CEC contracting job was not allowed (If you are incorporated) it was allowed under FSW but not under Canadian Experience Class.
Although it is now allowed in Express Entry.
My suggestion would be to get good immigration lawyer to consult the same.
Yes Contract jobs are valid for EE category.americandesimd said:Thanks. U mean the skilled worker category on EE correct?
Thanks. So can I use my upfront medical results and IELTS previously used for cec for this new express entry.?Kota1978 said:Yes Contract jobs are valid for EE category.
But was not valid under old CEC.
Yes You can..Hope for IETS it is still Valid..I am not sure about EE but for CEC validity was 2 years.americandesimd said:Thanks. So can I use my upfront medical results and IELTS previously used for cec for this new express entry.?
But guys don't you think this whole self employed thing should have been informed to me at the AOR stage?Kota1978 said:Yes You can..Hope for IETS it is still Valid..I am not sure about EE but for CEC validity was 2 years.
I dont know why but I still confused and not sure if this refusal is genuine or was it a mistake?...Let me summarize what I think you situation is....There is a client 'A' for whom you need to work...Rather than hiring you directly they said that you should come through a contracting company so that they do not have to bother about their head count (This is normal and happens everywhere).....This contracting company (or lets call it a body shopping company) placed you at the client location...so for you the employer is the contracting company and not the client....americandesimd said:But guys don't you think this whole self employed thing should have been informed to me at the AOR stage?
When you do aor that means u r accepting that everything is fine on the file with respect to requirements
