so, RPRF comes by e-mail and this is usually the last step before DM.

If you didn't receive any rejection / refusal of PR by e-mail before your DM AND, you didn't have any security / or and / criminality problem, DM means your application got approved. DM comes only after you paid RPRF ... this is the reason why this is very strange. never saw this before.

you will need to pay your RPRF anyway, go ahead and pay them upfront. ;)

As per my understanding...
After RPRF fee..It comes Ready for Visa email which says to send passport for Visa stamping if you are not from Visa exempted countries (India is not :)

After that DM comes into picture..

So, what is the point of asking PPR is the DM is refused ?

this is the guide used by VO.

you can double check the link Making a final decision - Approving the application

My application got to CIC October 20, 2014.

I haven't had any updates on my ECAS since AOR notification, February 17th, thereabout.

However, I've been following the threads and in anticipation of receiving my Medical request and subsequent RPRF fee within the next month, I've decided to go ahead and pay my RPRF fee upfront on March 4th, 2016.

I also have an upfront Medical scheduled for March 11th, 2016 in Hamilton for $265.00.

I'm hoping to expedite the process by doing these things upfront since they are so close to October 2014 applicants and my Current Open Work Permit expires April 21st, 2016 :o. I'm praying to GOD that I get my PR by April 21st, 2016 so that I don't lose my job lol.. I know the chances are slim, but nothing is impossible. I also had applied for BOWP extension by paper from January.

Good Luck to everyone! I'll post my updates as they come!

I am an October 10th applicant, the lastest info in my ECAS is : Medical results have been received.

1. We received your application for PR on Oct.10,2014.
2. we started processing your application on F. 13,2014
3.Medical results have been received.

is there anybody in the same situation...

Yes I am exactly the same:

Application Received: Oct 9 2014
AOR Received: Feb 11 2015
Medical Results received (Upfront) and I've paid RPRF Upfront too.

Not heard anything at all.

I did my upfront medicals and paid rprf too. But I didn't get a IMM5401. How can I get my IMM5401?
Any advice?

The receipt you receive after paying RPRF is IMM5401.

can Anyone please share the Process of Upfront medical

1) what forms are required for doctor appointment
2) is there any specific kind of medical we have to do for immigration
3) how to update CIC after Medicals

Thanks for help!

can anyone please confirm the below

For paying RPRF its asking for number of applications.
My application has my wife and 14 month old kid in it.
So shall I put no of applications as 1 or 2?
Question is do I have to pay 490*2 for me and my wife or is it just 490$ for the entire application? I believe kids below 18 are exempted from this.
Might be a silly question, but just wanted to make sure if i am doing this correctly

Thanks in advance.

1. No Forms are required...Just call the doctor (CIC Approved panel) and book an appointment for upfront medical...They will ask you to bring your passport, any prescription that u are taking glasses, AOR email and money to pay the fees....
2. If they ask what category to choose - I have said 'Worker'
3. They will give you acknowledgement which will have 'UMI #'...scan it and send it to the CIC's email address and then wait patiently....

Thanks...

Can anyone help that how many days it can take to see Medical results received. i did upfront medicals last week.
