you got my situation correctly. i was the sole proprietor(owner) just for the name sake since the client wanted it that way. Now the question is that when you were employed with this contracting agency, were you employed directly or did you had ur own corporation company where you were the owner/director?
Used to get direct deposits and salary slips from this contracting agency just like any other full time employee. Precisely they handled my accounting and ran my payroll
