People did the exact same thing in New Zealand and it worked. sitting and waiting is not gonna cut it.

I replied to the portal email on friday Oct22,2021 but still waiting for the credentials. People gets credentials in a day or two but don’t know y its taking so long for me

I have got permanent residence portal ID and password. I replied fisrt email with all the information of my spouse and mine but can not able to find my spouse name in PR confirmation portal. I can just able to see my name only.
Is this happen with anyone else?
They are saying we have to report our presence in canada within 7 days of this email but I have to wait to link my spouse name in my account.
What should I do?

Do you mind if I ask which province you’re in? Because I don’t know how you got those info… All my attempts to ask the agent about my processing status have failed so far. I’m wondering if different visa offices that answer the call have different protocol.

I called IRCC every morning and at least three times for today and none of the agents responded are willing to give me the details, so I’d love to know how you do it!

I am in Ontario, but I think this time call connected in somewhere in Quebec, because the agent started speaking french, but then we started a conversation in English.
I called IRCC 3 times, but when I did my first call, I requested a lot from that agent to give me my status, agent was keep saying to me, we cannot give an update due to the Afghanistan crisis, but I said I don't have any update about my application, I cannot see anything on my portal and it's been more than 3 months, finally agent gave me some updates. The other 2 calls are easy they didn't say anything about Afganisthan and gave my status directly.
I usually called around between 1 pm to 3 pm.

Thank you for the tip. Last time I called the agent said if I have trouble seeing the application then I can report the issue via web form or some thing, but was still unwilling to give any information.

good luck for future you had any overseas experience and your status was same until portal email review of eligibilty and background processing is dependent had experience too from inside canada.

Guys, my medicals have expired (says You do not need a medical exam) for over 1.5 month now. It initially passed during R10 check. Anything I can do to stimulate file movement ? :/

unfortunately not. Best you can try is getting a GCMS note but thats the limit.
