I ordered GCMS notes on the 4th May and received on the 21st, I hope this means that They are working on my application as I only have 21 days left to 6 month mark
Whoa!! That was fast! It took me close to 2 months to get my GCMS! I ordered them on March7th and received them on May 3rd.

Your GCMS notes were super fast! For most people is taking over a month.
1st set was 30 days, 2nd set was 50 something days, I was expecting this set to be sent just before my 6 month date on the 13 June, but came early for some reason

80% of the notes come within 30 days, if the notes are being delayed it can be of many reasons, you can raise a complaint at ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca

Asking the real question....what did your notes say? was it any different from your previous notes?

Yes there has been updates from previous notes, but the last update was back in Feb when it was transfered to CPC Edmonton and Criminality started.

I called them just now and it's my second time calling them (last time was late April). They're still saying that they're working on my application and have no updates to tell me at all. I submitted my GCMS note request earlier this month but haven't received anything yet. I passed my meds on Jan 11th and uploaded my RCMP check approx. a week later. I haven't heard back or had any 'ghost' update in my account at all.

This is frustrating, I only have 6 days left to my processing time and my work permit expires on the same date I will be hitting my 6 month mark. I've already applied for my BOWP but my god, I can't travel outside of Canada because I'm being held hostage to retain my implied status and while IRCC is fine with me changing my job, no one's gonna want to hire me if they know I'm on implied status and have an expired SIN (the hassle and the fact that many HR professionals simply don't know how to deal with this case). At this rate, my only option is to reach out to my MP regarding my application after I hit the 6-month mark. My biggest fear is that they might reject my application and I really don't know how to deal with it since my current WP is expiring and I will be on implied status. I'm fine with rejection but this far into the application is so incredibly frustrating because I have to scramble to get my ITA, then, all my application stuff ready and resubmit again. Ughhh

I do not know what to say, we are all on the same boat. I hope it goes well, maybe you get a ghost update or something tonight or early next week.

At the moment, you have nothing to do a part from getting in touch with your MP and calling them.

I see Ottawa is slow in processing the applications maybe due to the work-load. If it is your visa office, try to write them an email explaining your situation.

I feel like the people who are already inland deserve a faster processing time, because they already have commitments e.g. rent agreements, tax returns, job changing, car arrangement and etc.

Thanks
Got PPR on Tuesday. Same timeline. Ottawa Visa Office.
