Yes. My case and I believe most of CEC applicants skip IP1 stage. IP2 and MEP in the same day, same time.

You need the Police Certificate from your country, but the translation can be done here. That is easy.

Criminality check: Your police certificate, RCMP, and Interpol being asked if you've committed crimes.
Security check: Asking CSIS and their allies if they believe you're involved with extremists, terrorists, etc.
I also call CIC (April 26 2019) - agent information:
First officer "recommended pass" for eligibility
My process is with the main officer now, and they are working on my background check.
Criminality passed - Done
Security - In progress
Hmmm, They asked that on the application form and i anserwed "No" ..... guess they aren't taking our word for it.lol
Has anyone submitted an inquiry through web form and not received the automated response about IRCC receiving your inquiry? I'm talking about the automated email that comes in minutes after submitting the form.
I sent a CSE today and did not receive the automated email. I still haven't received my GCMS notes either. I'd ordered them on March 7th. I'm beginning to wonder if I'm not receiving emails from IRCC at all in the first place? I check my spam all the time. Nothing there either. Anyone with similar experience? I'm beginning to sound paranoid now
I requested a Webform on the same day you did and also did not received the auto reply. But i just got the answer email from my Webform inquiry! Today, May 2th. Did you get yours?

If you don't mind my asking, what was the response you got for your webform inquiry? Was it the usual "We have verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you everything is in order"?

I sent an email to my VO informing my social status change. I am common law now. (but my boyfriend is Canadian, so he doesn`t need to be included on my application, i just needed to inform/notify them.)
But i never got a reply, so i sent a Webform to confirm they got the information, here is the answer:
"Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that your request was received by the responsible office.
If further information is needed during the processing of your application, the responsible office may contact you.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your
enquiry."
But i already knew that, because i end up calling CIC last friday.
Does any one know, how long it takes the security check?
I mean, how long it takes if the officer is actually working on your file.
I call last friday and was told they were working on my security.....i think i will wait 02 weeks. If i don`t heard anything, if i don`t received anything, i will call them again. What do you guys think?

My AOR is 13-Nov-2018 and my security check is still in progress. Eligibility - Recommend Passed.
