Thanks , looking at your profile , you did upfront medicals.
DO you remember how long did it took for ecas to get updated with medicals received after you completed your medicals ? I did mine in Sep 2015 and still ecas not updated

Friends,

The most awaited day has finally come !!!

Got RPRF request on 03 Mar 16, paid the same day and notified them immediately.

Guess what, today i have received the "Ready for Visa" email today. I am planning to send the passports in a day or two.

My ECAS status still reflects as In progress only.

Wish everyone of us a good luck and days are not so far.

Hi,
Congrats. Are you from a visa exempt country? What does the ready for visa email asks for exactly?

I did my Medicals on 03 Jul 15. Got a confirmation from my Doctor around 08 Jul 15 and emailed CIC the same day. Trust me, i got a response from CIC exactly in 3 days or so. Then i made my GCMS request by Jul end which i received by Sep 1st week and saw my Medicals were mentioned as Passed

No, i am from India and they have asked us to send the Passports along with 2 Passport photographs for each of the Applicants (in my case it will be myself, spouse and my 2 kids).

RPRF received today. Paid off.

Time line

AOR: 10 Jan 2015
MR: 16 Feb 2016
RPRF: 10 Mar 2016

So I got Passport request but for the nearest Visa Application Centre nearest you they put a list of out of Canada Visa Offices when I am still living in Canada.

Is it possible just to send it to the office here in Ottawa?

you should be able to login to ECAS with your receipt number in a few days, next is your passport request.

I did my MR in Feb. and on Feb 29th the third line has been added (medical results have been received).
Paid upfront RPRF on April 29 and could use the RPRF receipt no. logging into ECAS on March 9.
So what is my next step then? Receiving RPRF request?
